UK Software Charts - Rare Replay studio's first UK chart-topper since Banjo-Kazooie on N64 in 1998

Rare retro game compilation Rare Replay is the developer's first game to grace the top of the UK charts in nearly 17 years.
The last time Rare hit the top spot was in 1998, for the original Banjo-Kazooie on N64 - a game included in the Rare Replay package.

Nice.I'm really happy for Rare. This game pushed my cousins to get Xbox ones. it's the start of a new and better Rare ans I hope Sea of thieves turns out really great too.

ive seen the game as low as 17 quid and its a total bargain, hadnt played many of these games myself but im addicted to pro am and battletoads and damn battletoads is hard haha

Hell yeah Battletoads one of the most difficults games ever. Still is..great fun. RC pro am. One of my all times favorites but then again alot of the games on this great bundle are.

Looking back to 2015 and the Time Capsule that was Rare Replay

As an Xbox website, it would be remiss to say that the Xbox One has had its’ detractors this generation. After stumbling about with their Xbox One reveal a few years before, Microsoft and their gaming brand were in a period of transition. But Rare Replay had another trick up its sleeve to appeal to a core Xbox audience. Their announcement promised 30 games priced at £20, with 10000 Gamerscore. It was an achievement hunters wet dream.
