Why do you need one of these ugly fn things for an Xbox ? Bet they sell none.

captainbigballs1194d ago

ikr, this is right here is the exact reason- the epitome- of why i hate nyko.

my 1tb console + (hidden) stylish black ext hdd will look much better ;-)

Lol, would be useful for the PS4 but what is the point of it for XB1 when you can buy or use any external HDD.

Most redundant and unnecessary game accessory ever.

I thought the Xbox One has a non removeable internal drive? Which was why they added USB 3.0 ports.

EDIT: Don't tell me this is just an external HDD that attaches to the console.

actually it seems to be a usb3 HD enclosure which isnt too pointless..

guess you can pop in any 3.5" sata drive you want into this thing.. people may have sata drives kicking around vs usb

just an alternative to using/buying a usb drive

Where did I see the xbox one external drive that connected to the side of the console like the phat 360 did? I swear it had another 2 usb 3.0 ports on the front of it too. It looked a hell of alot neater than this as it looked like part of the console. Im sure I originally saw it on N4G. It looked better than that damn eyesore anyway

It looks an awful sight (if useful) on PS4, let alone on the larger Xbox One.

It may be useful for those who care little for form factor, but with Ext. HDD Support....where is the (Mass) Market for this on X1?
