Next month one of the finest specimens in strategy gaming is finally going portable. Disgaea appeared on the PlayStation 2 back in 2003, and Disgaea 3 will arrive on the PlayStation 3 later this month. If you missed the original and consider yourself a strategy fan, you'll want to set aside a few hundred hours of your life for one of the deepest experiences around. Disgaea is a hardcore gamer's wet dream. There are so many layers of gameplay it's almost hard to wrap your head around it all. IGN has been playing the DS version and are happy to report it appears to have translated perfectly from the home game.
