PSU writes: Guerrilla Games discusses the development of Horizon: Zero Dawn on PS4 and the challenges it has faced when crafting an open-world title.
I know you can do it, GG.
I can't help but, while very excited for this game, feel worried. GG has never done an Open world game. This is a new ground for them, and I hope they don't screw it up. But, what I already saw was cool enough. Hopefully there's lots of quest, locations, secrets, and more. I have faith the ex bethesda and CP project Red staff will be good assets. What GG really lacked since Killzone 2 was a good writer, and they've got it.
I understand your fear. But you have to believe, my friends.
"I can't help but, while very excited for this game, feel worried. GG has never done an Open world game. This is a new ground for them, and I hope they don't screw it up." Is guerrilla games one person? I would imagine they have aquired the staff to produce such a vision. I never do understand those kinds of statements! Of course it might not be your typical open world/rpg title. It's there own creation. Was it supposed to be something of the same? Is it supposed to be like other games we have played and enjoyed? Maybe it's fresh, a whole new take on open world tired formulas.
CD Projekt RED had never done an open world game before either, but look how the Witcher 3 turned out. I've got my fingers crossed on this one, it looks amazing from what I've seen so far and I can't wait to see more.
Day one, no doubt, I will pay double if I have to and I would not complain. I can't wait to see gameplay video at night in a driving thunderstorm, with flashes of lightning going off in the distance. I can feel the thrill of the hunt. This game looks spectacular, in every way, and I love the different approaches it looks like the player will have when tackling the dinos. So good....
With every bit of news on this game, my power level increases
I want to see more of this beautifully crafted open world!
I want I want it all just give me it already GG...the game that is.
This game just blew me away at E3. It easily took best of show for me and that's in the presence of uncharted 4, the last guardian and freakin ff7 remake! I did not expect such a big chunk of gameplay to be show, in fact, I didn't expect any gameplay at all! Hope it turns out well because so far it looks fantastic. Fingers crossed for a 2016 release!
You're not kidding!! When the leak for this game first occurred, and I saw the concept art, it looked interesting. I thought it held real promise....but the gameplay demo just completely blew me away. I assumed it was cgi when it started, then when Aloy put the crossbow on her back I realized it was morphing direct to gameplay and I literally said out loud "No freakin way"...I haven't been that stunned by a gameplay demo in a very long time.
This game looks very promising. This is the best game I saw at E3 this year and I hope we are playing it next year in the fall.
I didnt thought that this game was already at this stage, but when i saw the E3 video... OMG. Bring more dinobots. We want more pics of other races!!!
Just announce a collector's edition already
