The only Legend of Zelda game that has been released for the newest Nintendo system, the WiiU, is The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD. It was one of the first games to really give the WiiU some much needed publicity. But the question remains: why hasn’t Nintendo made The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker remade for the Nintendo 3DS?
Link should have a voice in The Legend of Zelda Movie. While he mostly stays quiet in the games, he canonically does speak but usually holds back on expressing his thoughts. In a movie format, it is better for the character and the story itself that Link speaks.
I just hope it's not a bunch MCU Snarky McJokeface dialog. Started playing veilguard free on PSN (would not recommend) and it's a perfect example of how dialog in contemporary entertainment is garbage.
Nintendo is hoping to continue working on both top-down 2D and dynamic 3D The Legend of Zelda games in the future.
A Legend of Zelda fan has been modding various aspects of Ocarina of Time into The Wind Waker over the last few years. They recently gave a big update on the project and it looks great.
Because the developers were using Wind Waker HD as a test bed for ideas that would later be incorporated into Zelda U. That's what they stated when the game was released.
Or maybe because 3DS isnt even as strong as Gamecube is the reason why it wasnt made for the 3DS? Previous Zelda games made sense because they were brought from the N64 which is HW wise less stronger than 3DS.
@ChubbyChuy
Machines dont work like that, at least not the ones that have been designed properly. When you put more demanding games on the hardware, it means the game is going to run at a very poor performance. Its not going to melt or overheat (unless theres something wrong with it) just because the game is super hardware intensive.
I agree with the author... the low-res 3DS screen could detract from the art style of this game particularly compared to the Gamecube version.
...
I don't even know why some of you are discussing this.
Has any Zelda game really been remade, though?
Also: doesn't the 3DS have enough Zelda ports?
