The Bug Butcher is a 2D, action-packed, side-scrolling shoot-'em-up game where peril comes from above. Use a wide selection of weapons and power-ups to tear through increasingly challenging levels.
The Bug Butcher plays as a classic arcade shooter reminiscent of Super Pang! (Super Buster Bros) and at a value price is an easy recommendation for twitch and arcade game fans.

I like the handdrawn look (like Hallow Knight) but this trailer just seems to shootery and not exploratory.
I'm not quite sure whether or not "Abuse" counts as a CeilingVania game, if no, then I haven't played one before either. Ah ha, I see. Well, if there's a demo for it, then you could always try the game before you buy it.
