'Ancestors: the Humankind Odyssey,' leads the player through the entire development of us as a species.
Ancestors official Twitter: "Ancestors has sold more than a million copies! Enjoy this video as a special gift. We are so greatful to the community, thank you everyone!"
I've really been meaning to try this but worried about how long it takes to get into it. Maybe one day, nice to see it sold so well
This month’s Humble Choice features twelve games plus a new Humble Original. They include PC Building Simulator, Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, Pathologic 2, and more. New games are added to Humble Choice on the first Friday of every month.
I wonder how many users would have to pause a month for them to reconsider what kind of games they're offering
It’s really sad but Humble Bundle has kind of lost its allure for me since they sold out to IGN. Haven’t gotten a bundle since. I respected what they used to stand for.
Panache Digital Games, the developers behind Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, have officially teased a sequel in a Reddit AMA.
Could be epic!!
Evolution is amazing..
The concept sounds good. Let's see if they can pull it off! Could be interesting. 20 chapters seems a bit much for an episodic title though.
Would be more suited for a movie, IMO....unless the gameplay is some what satisfying which i doubt, especially if its you being the apes. Tho its seems it will be episodic...maybe something like a telltales game would be good, but as an actual game....i don't see how it will work, we shall see!
First person or 3rd person view??
Poor Patrice...
Game Informer did an article on him where he talked about his career - which was interesting - but it was the section on 'Amsterdam 1666' that was most fascinating... in short, it was to be a game about the Devil, with a 'historical' backdrop.
It's a shame it won't ever get made... If 'Ancestors' does well then Ubisoft should at least give him a chance to buy the IP back.
