New Sega Saturn Emulator Launches on Android, Works Surprisingly Well

Emulation is a great way to enjoy some golden oldies without having to dig out the aging consoles from the attic, or pay through the nose to get hold of a working machine.

Android can emulator a PS1 with ease but you will be hard pressed to get a real controller to work on an Android.

Using the touch screen is not fun and it seems Android is making controller support more difficult.

I thought if you rooted the phone you could just use a ps3 controller wirelessly.

Wow, just played Shining force and it actually works. Even the 3D texture seems to be upgraded and look cleaner. This is just plain awesome and will continue to test out more games.

Ya think? It seems odd that Nintendo wouldn't include Xbox, Steam, and Playstation on their app. It's quite unusual. 😅

Chocoburger78d ago

Not really worth debating over. Its just a free news / media app. If you care about Nintendo properties, then yes download it. If not, then avoid it and move on with your life.

Probably more worth it than coming to n4g day after day

Oh, hell yeah. Installed. Have loved Nintendo since the 80s.
