North American anime distributor FUNimation Entertainment announced on Tuesday that it has launched a free streaming app for Xbox One in the United States and Canada.
North American anime company FUNimation Entertainment has acquired a good-sized portion of online game developer/publisher GameSamba. The acquisition was announced at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con. The companies announced a strategic alliance in July 2011, and FUNimation president Gen Fukunaga was named as GameSamba's first Chairman in October.
I received an email from Funimation today to a site that has a countdown. Looks like it might be linked to the Dragon Age Dawn of the Seeker release
FUNimation has made the One Piece anime available for digital download on the PS3, 360, and Zune.
Yes, awful isn't it. Anyway, the article doesn't mention whether or not the episodes will be unedited and english SUBBED. That would be the deciding factor for me. Great show though, love it so far.
Shonen Jump US / FUNimation have been pushing digital distribution to get One Piece exposure across the planet. SJ is going to be digitally releasing translated chapters 3 WEEKS after they are released in Japan rather than the year they are at now, and also Subbed episodes are shown a few HOURS after it is shown in Japan @ www.onepieceoffical.com. Hulu also gets those episodes the Wednesday after they are released.
$0.99 an episode Dubbed? I might wait to see how many they get on the list (as it is just the 1st voyage / part of East Blue Arc) and the pick/choose memorable episodes.
same here Netflix needs more anime,I also wish they would add GTO!,Yu Yu Hakusho,Cowboy Bebop,Hellsing,Hajime no Ippoe and more lol .. but GTO is soo awesome lol really wish they had it
