EA has rebuilt its value after more than a decade of struggling to do so.
Would be with Star Wars Battlefront releasing at the end of the year coinciding with one of the most anticipated movies of the year Star Wars Episode 7. It's almost guaranteed success...
Dat Star Wars Battlefront doe
EA investors, for an extra $40 stock season pass, you'll be guaranteed access to the stock price remaining high for the rest of the season.
Made me laugh. Perfect response. +Bubs
LOL'd @ stock boosts!!!
So... since when does stock price mean anything? Protip to people who don't understand the stock market. It's a rigged casino. Stock prices do not reflect reality. They reflect free ZIRP money printing, stock buy backs, and all sorts of sordid crap. Just ask yourself this...where do you think EA's stock price would be if there wasn't 22 TRILLION DOLLARS of artificial liquidity pumped into the markets over the last few years, in addition to as I said earlier... ZERO INTEREST RATE POLICY (ZIRP). People, wake up. Stock price doesn't mean crap. Lots of insolvent and broke companies currently have an all time high stock price, or dang near it. So to the author, what's the value of EA stock, when the entire stock market is built off of fraud, accounting tricks, QE, stock buybacks, and bunch of other crap? The answer? WHO KNOWS. Except one thing... it's value is no where near worth what it currently is listed at. So anyone trying to draw any conclusion based on a stock price, is simply acting like a complete fool, and drawing conclusions that are simply false.
I am not an expert, but I do agree with you, stock price can be very deceiving.
damn. that was a nice tirade.
Of course that's not their value, stocks are just illusions, just look at Netflix and how people keep arguing what its real value is. But I would still think that the increase and higher stock price means more confidence in the company doing good? Nobody would invest in a down spiraling company.
So true!!! Any huge corporation can keep their stock prices high, or artificially inflate them, just by the tricks that you mentioned. Stocks don't purely reflect the liquidity of a company and it's assets, which would represent at least an initial value. Instead, it is some predictive value that is derived from the mire of all of those tricks (plus many more) that you mentioned. How in the hell else would Trump continue to make money despite many of his biggest ventures failing!?!
It's not hard to do that when you destroy the middle man for your own mistakes.
mass market my a$$, dumb people keep buying rehashes
