The Jimquisition: As an admirer of the Warriors series, I’m regularly frustrated that Tecmo Koei’s repeated attempts to bring its hack n’ slash series to handheld systems always come with a gimmick. Between Dynasty Warriors Next‘s intrusive touchscreen implementation and the restrictive small-scale nature of the PSP titles, rare is the opportunity for some simple slice ’em up action in my pocket. There have been some good ports of select console titles, but I want an original, simple, Warriors game for my portable needs.
Warriors have taken up their swords once more in Tecmo Koei's Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3, as DualShockers takes a look at the series newest installment on PS Vita and 3DS.

Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3 enjoys an extensive character creation and edit mode, which allows for a very deep level of customisation and vast selection of facial features, armour, weapons and accessories. It would also allow players to equip their customised characters with the default costumes of the famous warriors they befriend!
