Bangai-O Spirits, the latest high-energy shoot-em-up from Treasure and D3Publisher, is nearing its North American release. 1UP has gotten a decent amount of playtime in during the run-up to the review, and they've found some versatile weapon combinations that got them through more than a few levels. they're not saying these strategies are authoritative, because each player will find their own favorites, but they certainly aren't bad.

Didn't listen to the podcast. I just thought it was funny that the picture of the girl is Tootie from the Facts of Life. "2D", get it? It made me laugh, and realize how old I am that I know of such things.

I didn't like Bangai-O Spirits. its too "mission" based. I like Bangai-O on the N64. it has some sort of story on there, and it wasn't a "mission" based game. the levels had multiple sections with a boss. from what i played of the DS one, its one room most of the time, with bots to destory
