With AQ Interactive's KORG DS-10 music synthesizer for Nintendo DS heading to the U.S. this fall, 1UP decided it would be prudent to bug the game's producer, Nobuyoshi Sano (soundtrack composer for the Ridge Racer and Tekken series, as well as Drakengard and others) to ask him some questions about the game's sound quality, how it appeals to more hardcore musicians, its viability as a performing instrument, and more. Helping him with the more technological questions were sound engineers from KORG itself. Here's the 411 on the KORG DS-10 synthesizer.
Jeriaska takes a look at the DG-10 Japanese album/live event series in Japan, revealing the notable musicians taking the Korg DS-10+ music creation software to new audio heights.
If I do say so myself. I've long been interested in the DG-10 group and it was a great pleasure to learn about the story behind the music albums.
KORG is a maker of musical instruments, and now you can have one of their analog synthesizers in your own pocket. No need to lug around a big keyboard, and it's a lot less expensive, too. KORG DS-10 Plus is a powerful little tool, but you'd best have prior knowledge of music and synthesizers before jumping in!
