Nick DiMola reports:
''Zubo is a zany title from EA's Casual Entertainment label that encompasses a range of genres including action, adventure, and rhythm topped with a healthy dose of comedy. The title focuses on providing an experience best suited for children seven and up, though will likely appeal to adults as well.
The 3D world of Zubalon is a colorful place inhabited by the game's starring characters, the Zubo. Unfortunately, players find the world of Zubalon under attack from the evil Big Head and his army of Zubo clones and Zombos. Players must befriend Zubos along the way to build an army to fight the Zombos.''
From Atlanta Video Game News Examiner:
"Halloween is past and Thanksgiving is fast approaching. That means it is time to start planning for your holiday shopping. One of the biggest problems when shopping for gamers is making sure that you buy a quality game that they will enjoy. There's nothing worse than getting a game for someone and finding out that it is buggy, has bad controls, or just isn't fun at all. So, we've come up with the best bets of recent releases for the two major hand-held platforms (Nintendo DS and the Sony PSP) for the 2009 holiday shopping season. We've broken it down not just by hand-helds but by genres as well. So click through on the links below for the hand-held and genre you'll be shopping for this year."
John Tucker writes "In any genre of games, there are some entries that appeal to the masses, some that only hardcore fans have the background to enjoy, and some that are intended to bring in new fans. Many times, these last efforts are geared at younger players, and that makes sense. Zubo is clearly one of these "gateway" games, intended to bring younger players into the fold of RPG fans, and I was actually surprised to see it come out of EA."
