Glad to hear it. I knew this game was going to be great, and I can't wait to finally play it.
GamingLives takes a look at Honeyslug's tower defense.
"Super Exploding Zoo, like every other indie game, mixes basic presentation with solid gameplay, and offers an enjoyable but significant challenge to players looking for a strategy fix with a difference. It's easy to ignore, even after you've fired up the first few levels, but if you stick with it there's a pretty rewarding game to be had here."
PS Vita Reviews is back with a review for the most recent tower defense indie game on Sony's portable system. Here are their final thoughts:
"Super Exploding Zoo is a unique indie that combines puzzle elements with tower defense elements, something the Vita doesn’t have a lot of. On the downside, there are extremely long load times, the presentation has a lot of jagged edges on the 2D models, and it’s hit-and-miss with trying to join multiplayer matches. Past this is an interesting indie to keep pass the time, but has faults that can definitely hinder the experience."
I'm really enjoying this! Gonna chase that Platinum down I think!
Had a quick go of this and loved what I played of it but haven't had enough time to truly sink my teeth into it
