Rephrase your sentence "Finally a game "I" can look forward to from Square-Enix."

Square-Enix got so many good RPG's this year not even funny.

Hoffmann3384d ago

Oh true..forgot about World of Final Fantasy and Star Ocean 5

cash_longfellow3384d ago

Pancit_Canton3384d ago

Day 1. I love classic style JRPG.

Mikefizzled3384d ago

This isn't much in the way of reveals seen as we saw it at TGS as Project Setsuna.

Sharingan_no_Kakashi3384d ago

I've had my eye on this for a while, back when it was called setsuna no sacrifice. Looks like a solid game.

Totally pumped up to play AoT Vita! Glad to see a good score.

Geobros3419d ago

Nice score for SF V. 35/40 was the score for old Street Fighter II and SF IV, which were great games: http://translate.google.co.... http://geimin.net/da/db/cro...

I want to understand something...

" "Street Fighter 5" 35 points

Drawback that the female characters are not cute about surprised"

Did they dock points from the review because the female characters arent cute?

That would be the stupidest thing i have ever heard.

Geobros3418d ago

Personally, I don't know well Japanese and i don't trust google translation. So we don't know which are exactly the words of Famitsu reviewer.

MoveTheGlow3418d ago (Edited 3418d ago )

There was a translator who covered a few points, it seemed like the lack of single-player options was the main culprit for the 8's and 9's. (Oh, Rookie Monster beat me to it!)

I bet the 10 person was like "Uh, people do single-player?"

Honestly, unlockables are my jam when it comes to single-player, so this game has me covered. I'm not sure *anyone* but the pros are able to judge the game for the sake of competitions, though. The nuance in SFIV was never the half-circle moves, it was in how a player analyzed and read their opponents.

Rookie_Monster3418d ago (Edited 3418d ago )

Geobros,

Here is the translation for the SFV famitsu review.

SFV Famitsu review
+Easy controls compared to most recent fighting games
+Many competing moments outside of execution
+V Triggers help giving characters individualities & easy to know decisive points
-Single player contents not enough
-A reviewer worries that because of simple system & controls, hi-level fights might not be a show of skills.

DarkOcelet3418d ago

I wonder if they will update the score once the Single Player Story comes in June.

jeremyj29133418d ago

Hit disagree by mistake because I didn't agree with the reviewer's comment about high level play. Gave a bubble vote for the translation tho.

Rookie_Monster3418d ago

Good score for SFV. Can't wait for the game to drop on my PS4 next week!

ShadowKnight3418d ago (Edited 3418d ago )

Well, it's a Famitsu review. Whats genuinely funny about famitsu review is that they gave sf4 a 34/40SFV review score after saying it had easy controls ( Again Last time I checked they said the same thing about Street Fighter 5 lol) It's like they're repeating everything they said last time.. This game will be the best fighting game this year regardless. Looking forward to more review scores. Every fighting game I played had easy controls except for Dead or Alive and UFC. Killer Instinct, Soul Calibur, and Mortal Kombat had easy controls IMO.

Plus, all 8s are great scores.

MoveTheGlow3418d ago

Yes, Famitsu can be very, very weird. I wouldn't expect a Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games game to get that high a score either... I mean, it could be surprisingly great, but there's such a precedent for mediocrity in those games.

Germany73418d ago

Great scores for Attack on Titan and Street Fighter V, both are must-buy for PS4.
