Beyond Good & Evil 2 Is Dead and Buried

Push Square: "Sony's big E3 2015 press conference may have felt a little like a séance for formerly dead projects, but there's one title that it failed to resurrect: Beyond Good & Evil 2. The astute among you may have noticed that the release was absent from Ubisoft's media briefing, and that's because it's apparently dead as a dodo – probably because the publisher couldn't effectively find a means of shoehorning in towers."

Hey Microsoft, this is a excellent opportunity to come in, finance the game and make it exclusive. It's a game that a lot of people are interested in and with the right developer behind it, it could sell consoles. Take the example of Shenmue 3 or FF7...

... unfortunately, the people behind Microsoft aren't smart enough to do it. They prefer investing billions in Minecraft and Kinect.

BTW: What happened to that E3 Microsoft/SilentHill rumour?

I agree. I already own a PS4 and XB1 but I would buy a new console just for BG&E2. I really want this game to happen.

Frinker1406d ago

They could put it on PC too :)

SegaGamer1406d ago

We could make this game the next on the list for Kickstarter :P

Yehshuah1406d ago

that's the only possiblity since shenmue did it

Too many emotions to handle this week.

deathtok1406d ago (Edited 1406d ago )

This title feels dead. Perhaps it could come back with crowd sourcing like recent games.

This makes me incredibly sad, despite all those great games announced..they didn't show it at E3 so yeah, I assume it must be dead now.
