Can't wait what a fun game to just let it all go and enjoy yourself without any need to feel overly serious or anything. Just plug in and have a great time.

Crimzon3651d ago

This is how you reveal a game. No BS "pre-rendered in-engine" nonsense with quicktime events and cutscenes or a focus on whatever terrible story. Just a 10 minute slice of pure gameplay that looks genuinely fun to play.

showtimefolks3651d ago (Edited 3651d ago )

First game was awesome can't wait for this. Just a lot of fun to play without needing a serious story

camel_toad3651d ago

Yeh not a serious story but still managed to make me sad during the ending. Looking forward to the sequel.

Majin-vegeta3651d ago

FunAndGun3651d ago

Yes, without a doubt. Fun game with plenty of humor. It still might be on sale on PSN if you're a PS4 owner.

This Steam Deck-compatible trilogy is now more than $100 off, perfect for fans of action-packed FPS

The Shadow Warrior trilogy is currently listed with a 93% discount on Steam, and you can save more than $100 - ideal for your Steam Deck?

anast353d ago

It's rated as "playable"...it will look jank and probably run like it too.

ZycoFox353d ago

Well if it's not good enough for you then just play it on a decent PC.

@GhostMirror

Yeah same here. Lots of unsuported indie horror games that end up being fully playble with standard controls and no issues whatsoever.

Thus far, most unsupported games run fine on Steamdeck but I have run on some issues with some lesser known games as well (do not boot at all despite trying various proton versions) but again those were mostly indie horror games.

Playable games almost always play well and have minimal if any issues so I am not sure what Anast is trying to point out here.

I have shadow warrior 2 and am playing it on deck right now. Runs really well and looks good too.

DaMist353d ago

The "playable" label can be something as simple as needing a mouse click on a menu cause controlelrs don't work lol its crazy how many automatically claim a game will run like shit just cause of that label, same with those unverified. take helldivers 2, its unverified on steam because of the mp, not because the game itself doesnt work. just something to keep in mind.

I wasn't really impressed with the second game, hopefully the third one is better.

MehmetAlperTR353d ago (Edited 353d ago )

1 st one is the best. Second one is meh. Couldn't play third one because of, it was crashing on my PC.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

MadLad1008d ago

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

Venoxn4g1008d ago (Edited 1008d ago )

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

gurp408d ago

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games
