COG writes: Chip’s Challenge 2 is the long-awaited sequel to Chip’s Challenge, for two decades this game has been locked away by greedy business executives and has finally been returned to its rightful owner. But how well does the game itself hold up?
With two hundred levels and the ability to create more, Chips Challenge 2 is worth the $4.99 price tag by itself or bundled with the first game and level editor for the same price. Other than some cartoony deaths, this game is safe for all audiences or anyone who likes a good challenge. My kids enjoyed Chip’s “bummer” when he died. The background music and graphics are similar to the original game. Anyone who is a fan of the original, should definitely consider this long awaited sequel!
From the review: "Chip's Challenge 2 is a pretty good follow-up to the original. I would have liked a change in graphics--as well as the music, which gets repetitive and irritating at times. The individual price tag might turn some people off, but if you can get this as part of a bundle that includes both games and the level editor, it's more than worth it."

If you grew up in the ’90s and you had a PC, then there’s a good chance that you played Chip’s Challenge at some point. If you enjoyed the dual challenges of figuring out the solution to each level and of avoiding all the enemies when executing it, then it was disappointing that Chip’s Challenge 2 was stuck in publishing purgatory. A purgatory that finally, after 25 years, has ended. Now that it’s finally out, how does it hold up?
I am dad that that the Wai wasn't all worth it.
