Warner Bros. Interactive is having one of its biggest years ever. And it could end 2015 as a bigger third-party publisher than EA or Activision.
I bet Batman: Arkham Knight and Mad Max will push them even higher. They are among my most anticipated games this year
WB a building a reputation as a publisher of quality games so far the best publisher of the new generation
that is something i can agree with
But they are also showing they are slowly turning into Activision with all the dlc they have for mortal kombat and arkham knight.
Its been great for warner bros that's for sure
Picked up all 3 & got the batman ak system pre ordered . Hopefully ak will be strong like the rest
Oh yes they're knocking it out of the park this year for sure. Add Shadow of Mordor to the list also! @Thunder_G0d: DLC can be a good thing. It will lengthen the play-value of the game, providing the DLC isn't junk. And again, this wouldn't necessarily be WB's decision to add DLC to a game. Developers choice...and a developer wants their game to last.
And Batman ain't even out yet.
Warner is not done yet!
That's great however will they become just as bad as EA & Activision? That $40 season pass for Batman isn't exactly inspiring. Hopefully they'll tone it down after that, but only time will tell.
How long will Activision stay on top? They have one blockbustet franchise and a toy line, and the blockbuster is losing steam fast.
You're also forgetting things like all of blizzard and Destiny... Activition won't be going anywhere for a while...
Now get Monolith to make Condemned 3! :3
Great to see WB pushing out a ton of quality titles among Lego, Mad Max, Batman, Mortal Kombat, Injustice and Shadow of Mordor. Where's all the Marvel fanboys now?
Let's not forget why Warner Brother's are releasing such great games. They own the DC, Mad Max, and Lego franchise. As for Dying Light and The Witcher 3. The reason why Dying Light didn't get released in Europe on top is because Warner Brother's didn't want to publish it Europe, so they had to self publish. Bandai Namco is responsible for in Europe, or at least in the Nordics.
Holy crap a lot of typos. Wrote this at work, wasn't paying attention. TLDR; Warner did not want to release The Witcher 3 and Dying Light in Europe. Bandai Namco took The Witcher 3 and Dying Light was self-published.
