Finally! I have been looking forward to playing this game for a while now.

nucky643239d ago (Edited 3239d ago )

yep. I was hoping for july; but, at least we have a date! now, if john blow would only give us a release date on "the witness"......

Sooooo that means no mans sky, everybody's gone to rapture, Nathan drake collection, persona 5, disgeae 5, dragon quest heroes, until dawn and the tomorrow children all for the second half of the year.

I know I'm forgetting something and I'm sure Sony might have 1 or 2 gems being announced at E3 for fall....GT7 maybe....hopefully.

........sparse my ass.

joeorc3239d ago

You could picture , while saying that the people at playstation over at Sony had a smirk on their face..lmao

morganfell3239d ago

Remember when it was leaked that Sony would be using 4GB of Ram in the PS4? Even the early dev kits only had 4GB. Every think that leak was intentional to get competition to underplay their hand?

I think the sparse remark was the same tactic.

But I also think that Sony moved UC4 to next year for 2 reasons. More development time and to steer clear of a very big PS4 exclusive announced at E3 that is landing this fall.

Seriously man, it's been games year round! That's how I like it!

None of that "Holiday"only bull.

Germany73239d ago

Dear Esther concept it's really interesting, and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture looks even more in every sense. Can't wait for it.

VsAssassin3239d ago

Finally! This in August and Soma in September. Greatness indeed!

BitbyDeath3239d ago

Until Dawn is also in August.

DigitalRaptor3239d ago (Edited 3239d ago )

By the amount of "Finally" in this comment section, I can sense a lot of relieved gamers. We've been waiting for this and SOMA since late 2013. 2 years.

Next up... RiME, No Man's Sky, The Witness and WiLD.

@ BitbyDeath

Holy crap! YES. I'd almost forgotten that was August too. We also have Uncharted Nate Drake Collection in early October. I don't know who ever suggested that PS4 has no great games this fall/holidays - they were DEAD wrong.

5 great video games set in the UK

David at SQUAD writes: "Over the past few months, I’ve found myself lost in a number of books set in my home-land of the United Kingdom. At first, it was by chance, but then I found myself seeking them out. Then I got some games in a few sales -- Assassins Creed: Syndicate and Vampyr, if you must know -- and realized I’d done it again. This got me thinking: does the video game industry do a good enough job of setting games in a diverse set of locations, and how many games are set in the UK anyway?"

Ubisoft's Zombi was set in London I believe.

geekmandem1399d ago

Yep, ZombiU was indeed. A game I actually saw recommended a few times. It's weird that it stuck with so many people.

Dying Light, Crysis 3, Battlefield 4 & Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture with Ray Tracing

DSOGaming writes: "These past few weeks we’ve been showcasing numerous games that were visually improved by Pascal Gilcher’s ray traced Global Illumination method/solution for ReShade. And today, since it’s a slow news day, we are bringing you four games that have been showcased with this alpha Reshade version. These games are Dying Light, Crysis 3, Battlefield 4 and Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture."

Again Reshade is not Raytracing, is a screen space post processing effect. Thats like calling SSAO "Global Illumination"
