Don't Starve: Giant Edition Review - Wii U Version | Gamer Headlines

Don’t Starve has made its way onto the Wii U in the form of Don’t Starve: Giant Edition for $14.99. This version includes all of the regular Survival action you get with the standard version of Don’t Starve, plus the Reign of Giants DLC, which includes new items, characters, and environments. If you aren’t familiar with Don’t Starve, the game is a Survival adventure that dons the cartoony appearance of something that Tim Burton birthed, minus the Johnny Depp. You are given one life and one goal to accomplish. Your main objective is in the title and is all that you will have to go on: don’t starve. Each time you start up a new game, you are thrown into a randomly generated world with nothing but the shirt on your back and your bare hands to get things moving.

One of my favorite games of all time. I just don't know why, I just love it. Collecting resources is the most wonderful part of RTS gaming. As soon as the expansion came out, I was running around with ice cubes on my head.

It's a serious challenge to beat adventure mode too. I was quite happy with the level of difficulty in the game, it was hard.

I could chop wood and pick berries and grass all day
