Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power is currently available on Steam via its Early Access program and Frozenbyte has released a new content update that introduces new levels and various gameplay improvements.
Looks great. Should try out Trine 3.
nice. I loved Trine 1 and 2, i'm wondering how Trine 3 will fair with introducing new mechanics and camera transitions. well I hope.
As a big fan of T1 and T2 I'll try to share my opinion about T3 beta (Early Access): - the graphics are great as always, although the hardware requirements went up by quite a bit. I still managed to pull mostly stable 2x50fps (3D mode) in 900p after some tinkering with the details, on GTX760, and it was an old version (I download the more optimized version now), so it will be significantly improved. The graphics aren't nearly as good as i would expect from changing the target from X360 to PS4, but first -it's leveled for Xone, not PS4, and second - it looks like it could be even for Wii:U. That's not to say it doesn't look beautiful, especially in 3D New "2,5D" mechanics - personally I would've liked it to stay in "2D". The hardware requirements went up because of this, and playing with a zip-line (and firing arrows) is not as fun as it was, because 2,5D forced the change in the steering mechanics. But besides this, it has its good side, of course, so it's a compromise. We don't have much levels yet in Early Access, so it's hard to judge whether it was a change for good or bad. There are new mechanics that are fun, so I still hope Frozenbyte knew what they're doing. :) I think Frozenbyte deserves gamer's support like no other dev, so I stronly advice to pre-order now on Steam. You will be awarded with a "huge demo" called Early Access. And you'll smile at news like this one. New level! Woot! :D
thank you for sharing RonsonPL.
