We've not seen anything like Hellblade

MWEB GameZone writes: "Hellblade's first gameplay trailer shares the mad whispers of a mind taken by mental illness. Ninja Theory invites you to a descent into hell through the lens of mental illness.

We've not seen anything like it. Have you?"

Yeah. I'm interested in the mental illness aspect of this game. If they truely set out to make a game that delves into mental illness, I can't wait. I just hope that it isn't some type of way to spin the reasoning for making it. If it has a setup, a delivery, AND and finale, or some type of explanation or resolution (even if the resolution isn't one at all) regarding this problem, I will very impressed. I know that they have included professionals to help them in their development, as well as real ppl who have suffered. I guess I just want there to be a clear cut connection that many can relate to. I was a bit worried b/c of the setting, but it could work.

And it could actually open the doors for other devs to delve into serious issues, using great story and gameplay as the backdrop. As I mentioned though, I hope it's front and center, or it will be lost on many ppl who play it.

This is an xbone exclusive right? If it is, it may be the 1st good reason for me to buy one. Ninja Theory is becoming 9ne of my favorite developers.

It's a timed PS4 exclusive, only coming to PC, so no Xbox One.

I think the setting is perfect for the game as it shows the demnetia of a warrior. Remember Senua's mental illness started after the Viking invasion, hence the brutal and "hellish" world.

I really hope they pull off the mental illness side, and it's not just an excuse like you said.

the Xbox One possibility still exists, so maybe after release? Hell I'd pay for a Xbox One version of the game.

This is the closest to getting a sequel to Heavenly Sword, so I'm all for it.

Day 1.

Senua does remind me of Nariko. I think fans will not be disappointed in Hellblade.

It's funny how all female characters in Ninja Theory's games seem to resemble each other.

I'm pretty sure this game is going to be great! I absolutely can't wait to see more of this wonderful game at E3.

"Digital self-publishing means that we can offer a smaller, but high quality game at around half the price of retail games.”

Now that's the line that sold me

Totally, and what we've seen so far does look like high quality. GG Ninja Theory
