The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu had a feature article revealing Grand Kingdom for PS4 and PS Vita, that will be released by Spike Chunsoft in Japan later this year.
Yes! Keep the JRPGs coming
The PS4 is really starting to look like the PS2 JRPG-wise :D
Newly Announced PS4/PS Vita JRPG Grand Kingdom Gets First Screenshots and Artwok lol arkwok =p
The art looks a lot like Fire Emblem.
You should do video game standup because that comment is hilarious.
JRPGS can never be too much!
I like that the ps4 is getting a lot of JRPGS. But the problem that I have with them is this. How many of them are coming to the west or outside of Japan in general and even if they are then when will they arrive? Because it seems like most of them won't release outside of japan. I'm still waiting on god eater 2 rage burst to come out.
Agreed. I'm not much of a JRPG fan but I've been gaming long enough to recognize that the Playstation brand is at it's best when their library consists of a copius amount of JRPG's.
God why can I never get tired of these jrpgs, seriously my favorite genre of all time, keep them coming
spike chunsoft?I heard they're rlly good
Yes and no. Stuff like 999 and Danganronpa might be good, but I don't think they've really proven themselves in the JRPG arena yet (Conception amounted to very little, after all).
Spike Chunsoft is mostly a publisher anyway. What counts are the developers.
Xseed working keep pile up.
ps4 has no game$! - delusional fanboys
Keep em coming!!!! I'll buy as many as I can!
Dam this looks like that one PSP game that was that everyone wanted but never came west.. What was the name of it? By vanillaware I think
Grand Knights History :) same director it has been patched in english from what I've seen.I'd love to play it on my Vita. Would include the link but I dont wanna get in trouble and lose a bubble. Easily found with a google search.
OMG! And it starts the PS2 I mean PS4 onslaught! I think this one looks like it is not afraid of being a 'J'rpg. Does not look like a hack and slash rpg.(I hope)
Looks like a mobile game. And I am not even kidding.
Well those are probably screenshots from the Vita version, since that'll be the version that gets most sales it makes perfect sense to market that version of it.
Definite FFT vibe.
I hope we get this one. We didnt get the first one
Because the PSP wasn't popular. A victim of piracy.
That had nothing to do with why Grand Knight's History never left Japan. XSEED had fully translated the game, but Vanillaware were unable to patch in the English translation because they were too busy developing Dragon's Crown.
