Breach & Clear review for PS Vita | Gaming Age

GA:
I have a bit of a chicken-egg dilemma when it comes to Breach & Clear: did the fact it's a mediocre, repetitive game make me more likely to notice that its politics are kind of appalling, or did its appalling politics make me take a dimmer view of its gameplay?

103 minutes?! Now that's surprising!

Protagonist3100d ago

I hope this means, they will release other PS Vita games.

Miguelitons3100d ago

Yes, they already announced two other limited physical editions, Saturday Morning RPG and Cosmic Star Heroine for both PS Vita and PS4.

Yep, this is the final nail. This proves physical gaming is dead, and there's no market for it.

I'm joking obviously, but this proves what I've been saying for years. Physical gaming won't die because there's a market for it, and since there's a market do you really think greedy companies like EA and ubi would leave money on the table? I think not.

InahimeHondaSengoku3100d ago

Not sure if serious or trolling. You obviously commented in regards to PS Vita being dead, amirite? ;)

Heyxyz3100d ago

No....I love the Vita and have bought two of them....

I'm joking about how people say physical games are dead when stuff like this proves that isn't the case. In, short I'm making fun of the people who say all future games will be digital.

Next time please read my entire comment, thank you.

Awesome, I really like the sound of this:

"We are Limited Run Games a publisher of limited run physical games for PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4. We focus on bringing games that were previously only available in a digital format to a physical medium. We're game collectors and players who fear the prophesied all-digital future. We hope that we're not crazy to think that there is other people like us that still want physical games."

RevXM3103d ago

Indeed. I hope they pursue developers a bit to realize a physical version for digital only games. I already have gotten SOMA, but I was upset that it didnt get a physical release so maybe one day it will happen. Id pick up Soma again on disc for a pretty penny.

This is cool but is Breach & Clear really the best Vita game they could secure to release for retail? Maybe try a Vita exclusive, or like, just something better.

sypher3103d ago (Edited 3103d ago )

Well seeing as Breach & Clear is their own in-house developed game, it's more of a test case to prove that they can do it to other developers.

I'm sure we'll see them stretch the titles on offer once it's a well oiled publishing machine.

DittoHefner3102d ago

Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks.
