There’s been a growing trend lately of small games coming out whose entire focus are intense competitive multiplayer using simple gameplay mechanics and graphics. Towerfall, Nidhogg and #IDARB seem to be ushering in an era all of their own. Duck Game is the latest title to tackle this unique new genre.
KeenGamer: "These 5 games don’t take long to start or finish a round of. Take a look at the varied crop of the best party games that can be recommended for a quick 5-15 minute gaming session. They are perfect for those times when you are waiting at your computer for one last player to join you and your friends’ lobby."
BY TANNER BENHAM: A couple of months ago, a buddy told me I had to try Duck Game. I had never heard of it before. I do like games though and ducks are okay. Between trusting his opinion and noticing that the game was published by Adult Swim, I ended up purchasing the game on Nintendo eShop.
I’m glad that I did. Duck Game is the best local multiplayer experience I’ve had since childhood.
