Research shows that games can make you feel bad about committing violence in game, either discouraging them from immoral actions or making them feel guilty for committing them. However, if that's true, why is there so much griefing online?
Starting on a rather underwhelming conclusion to arguably the most exciting development of the previous episode, you jump into ‘Sons Of Winter’ finding out that Gared has been charged with the murder of Britt – his fellow brother of the wall. For the last episode to include a confrontation scene so memorable and full of tension, it’s a shame to see the whole situation transpire into events that are far less exciting.
VGChartz's Joseph Trotter: "Narratively, Sons of Winter is a definite improvement over the earlier episodes, and has a much easier, confident pace. Game of Thrones is still the weakest of the Telltale series released thus far, but that is testament to the endearing quality of the others. It is not a bad game, nor a bad series; it does, however, quickly need to find some character of its own before the axe falls."
