UGO writes: "Now I've played Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. So there's that. No new revelations to report in terms of the roster, though the Midway rep promised that some new names would emerge at next week's Comic-Con and the full roster would be unveiled further down the line, in Leipzig… but I HAVE played it and I have the barest of story mode details to share, which is enough.

Functionally, the game differs little from its predecessors. A simple set of controls favors shorter combo attacks which can then be strung together into an endless variety of elaborate sequences. The new additions of Close Combat (more likely to be called Klose Kombat) and in-air fighting are similar, with the camera moving in tight on the fighters and two maps of the gamepad's face buttons appearing on the bottom corners of the screen."
