SteamFirst: So, just to be entirely honest here, the original topic for this week’s column was to be Akiba’s Trip, a goofy beat-em-up that is gaining a cult following on the Playstation platforms that is making its way to Steam. I’m still going to hit that, but it is taking me longer to complete than I originally thought. In my panic, I wasn’t sure what I could possibly write about.
This belowed 2D kung-fu co-op brawler finally gets a console port and now you can finally try killing Nazis with superstar Davida Hasselhoff even on Switch!
Should've gone with the digitized character look from the original Mortal Kombat and the Street Fighter The Movie game. I think it would've worked better with how the movie looks rather than using sprites.
Think something like the arcade game NARC but with the neon soaked look of Kung Fury. Maybe next time.
The beat ’em up Kung Fury: Street Rage is now available for the PS Vita in Europe (except Germany) and later today in North America as a digital download title on the PlayStation Store.
Kung Fury game just got better on PS4. With 1.01 update the game received three new playable characters and awsome brand new Story mode.
Do yourself a favor, head to Youtube and watch Kung Fury. Its about 20 mins or so long, but they fit every stitch of 80's culture into one short film. And its glorious.
