An exact release date has been listed for the upcoming Vita game, Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders From Planet Space.

Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair has been discounted to $29.97 while Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space is also on sale at $17.03.
Got EDF PS4 for $20 free shipping last week from Toys R US, and EDF 2 Vita from GameStop for $18. These aren't really good deals from Amazon. I've seen much better. Both games are awesome! PS4 version is the best EDF game and great to have original EDF 2 finally, and on a handheld ontop of that!!!
Seriously EDF 4.1 is freak'n amazeballs, TIMES FOUR if you can get some people to co-op it with you. Most fun i've had in a game in years

Can't wait, i love the Vita and it's got a lot of games in it's future. Vita is spectacular.
Sucks that it is not a new game but just the port of the ten year old PS2 game that was released as a budget game at its time.
I constantly see the Vita TV bundle which includes a DUALSHOCK 3 controller, 8gb memory card, Sly: Thieves in Time, Lego Movie game and i think an hdmi for just 99 bucks at walmart and select gamestops. Obviously includes Vita TV as well...
Can't wait for this and Salt and Sanctuary. Also, Axiom Verge on Vita.
I like interesting ports particularly ps2 era ports, it's interesting and fun to me. I think they should port some psp games like gta and Resistance Retribution ect. I know u can play psp games on Vita already but an improved hd version reconfigured for the Vita's dual analog sticks and with added trophy support.
Go through the best psp games and remaster them with trophies. Resistance, gta, GoW, Killzone, but i'd take Dead Head Fred and games like that as well.
Yes th vita is getting games . They're not system sellers though . Bring out the yearly AAA tittles & exclusives & support like the psp had, & I'll gladly buy a vita again .
