Shaun White Snowboarding on Nintendo's little-engine-that-could is the first game I've come across to really nail controls using the peripheral. Where Skate It had me constantly running into walls and eating pavement, Shaun White Snowboarding gave a distinct impression of speed and control. Sure, it'll all take some getting used to before really being able to tear down the slopes, but after only a few races and runs down the half pipe, I could already see a vast improvement in my own abilities.

Shaun White Snowboarding on the Wii is entirely unlike the next-gen versions of the game. While the PS3 and 360 versions favor realistic controls and maneuvers, the Wii's entry is all about tackling the mountain, making friends, and challenging your real-life friends to the number of shorter events that span the five different mountain resorts."

I'm still a bit cautious about believing in the control scheme. I mean, Wii Fit skiing is so damn sensitive. It makes it hard to control, really. And snowboarding is even WORSE! I wonder how this'll turn out.
