Killer Instinct 'Shadows Mode' Now Available, Detailed in New Video

Iron Galaxy has been giving an impressive amount of support to their Killer Instinct reboot and today comes one of the biggest additions yet.

So Shadows Mode will actually mimick your fighting style, only executing moves that you have executed in similar situations. It has a brain that calculates percentages of combos and moves that you use, you can even train against your shadow. Damm that's pretty cool.

It's also a great way to breathe fresh life into the coming season other than new characters.

Even with MKX out, this still remains my favorite fighters in this new gen. Amazing variety of fighters and style and the continuous updates. The Story mode for season 2 will be next month as well and an announcement for season 3 will be at E3.

Haha been loving this so far have one of the higher ranked Spinal shdaows in the world and I would love to see this incorporated into story mode. Like take the shadow data of yourself but have the system make it better, and then you have to fight the perfect version of yourself! :D

Tried it out earlier today. It's pretty legit and I'm impressed by how accurately the AI has copied all my habits with Sadira and Glacius. Fighting shadows feels much more like fighting a real player than normal AI.

And supposedly the shadows will get even more accurate and intelligent the more we record fight data for them. I haven't seen anything like Shadow Labs in a Fighter before, and it seems genuinely innovative.
