Blade & Soul's Sexy Characters Won't be Censored; Game Won't Be Pay to Win According to NCSoft

The upcoming (at least in the west) free to play MMORPG Blade & Soul is well known for its rather sexy characters, with exaggerated proportions and a lot of skin on display, in line with the style of its original Art Directior Hyung-Tae Kim.

That caused some rather heavy censorship for the Chinese version of the game, but luckily, as NCSoft’s community team explained in a livestreamed broadcast, there’s no plan to implement any censorship for the western release.

Tf2. Premium accounts have no gameplay-related advantage to free accounts. All weapons can drop to any player as long as they play the game for long enough, and the most significantly different weapons are provided when you accomplish achievements for that class.

If you pay up, you get perks that are more like goodies. A thanks for supporting them(think of it as donating and getting hats as thanks).

EDIT: Apparently I'm too dumb to understand the term mmo. My point stands though, f2p doesn't mean p2w.

Dungeons and Dragons online. F2P with plenty to do, and playing awards you points you can exchange for more adventure. The pay format is for getting stronger faster, but it's totally the choice of the player.

There are plenty. Just because they don't charge you $100+ per year to keep playing it doesn't mean it's p2w. A lot of them sell cosmetics as their cash reward.

Stop trying to justify your monthly fee all the time by putting down other options.

In fact a lot of the things they have implemented are to discourage people from buying and to encourage them to do it themselves.

The rank of gear to be able to complete any content (exotic) has basically been the same since launch. And you can easily buy a full set of exotic in one to two days worth of gold from casual play so nothing really feels like you need to buy it.

Also everyone has the exact same gear choices in PVP.
