Sony San Diego Director of Product Development confirms that the studio is targeting 1080p, 60 FPS with Kill Strain, and mentions that the beta is "incredibly imminent."
With thousands of games over the years, it shouldn't be a surprise when a Kill Strain joins the litany of forgotten PS4 games.
343:
Over the past few weeks we've shared some very important Halo Infinite news, kicked off our Halo 3: ODST flight on PC and Xbox, released lots of fun Halo gear, and so much more. Without further ado, let's jump right in to the latest Community Update!
Joseph staten was the writer and narrative director on the first three halos...
having him along can only be a huge plus.
my understanding was he was consulting on it to begin with,
perhaps they brought him in in a more official/authoritative capacity now.
Good news, but if they've JUST joined the project this suggest that there is still a lot more work to do and the Q1 2021 release we were hoping for now seems very unlikely.
This game needs all the help it can get. Too bad it’s issues seem rooted in its design.
@venom, chances are they are here to help shore up any loose ends and not to rewrite (or start over). So my guess of March (Spring) 2021 still stands.
Then game has been in development for ages, if they've hired a writer to come in, you can expect some severe delays ahead.
again they started working on the engine 5 years ago, the game hasn't been in development for ages
... funny how nobody said that shit about the last guardian..
then again look at how highly-acclaimed it is (not)
just overhyped and forgotten...
@L7CHAPEL
You cannot possibly compare a niche title like The Last Guardian with a tentpole franchise like Halo. Stop defending this train wreck as it only makes you look desperate and a little pathetic. You know good and well that MS crapped the bed here and there's no spinning it any other way. I dont care HOW long the game has been in actual development, you don't come out and present your cornerstone franchise to the public in this state. That's a direct result of poor management/poor leadership. MS wouldve been much better off NOT showing the game at all.
HALO 5 Launched in 2015. After launch most of the team is unemployed. I guess you let your largest studio sit around and do nothing for 2 or 3 years. Sure your tech people are working on the new engine but your entire art team, your level designers, your sound people and a host of other employees just get to sit in an office and do nothing while collecting a paycheck.
No.
It has been widely known the game began development in 2015 (remember HALO in the hands of 343 was announced as a Trilogy - 4, 5, 6, and then changed to become a saga) and one issue this generated was 343 had no clue about the nature of the Xbox Series X hardware which had yet to be finalized in 2015, although in the end that was not the cause of their trouble. Attempting to craft a false narrative that the game has only been in development for 2 or 3 years is simply absurd. In fact it makes anything else a supporter of such has to say laughable. Attempting to distract from the issue by throwing shade at a competitor's game (which always wowed when it was shown, wasn't a flagship title, and took a huge beat down from everyone for its delays) is not going to alter the facts. And when The Last Guardian was shown there was no worldwide outcry of that trainwreck needs to be delayed. No, it was you need to give this to us now.
Joseph Staten is a great guy. Intelligent, a person with vision. But if you bring in a new lead at this point his job is either to act strictly as a personnel manager to meet the established timeline or you allow him to institute his ideas which inevitably leads to course changes and that means more delay.
What the hell are you talking about. People did and still do bring up the last guardian.
There's a clear difference between these two projects. You'd have to be utterly dense to use that as an excuse for Halo's shortcomings thus far. Compare the budgets and that should be enough but that isn't enough, take a look at the size of the studios.
Another thing to keep in mind is that he could've be brought on for the future storylines as this game will be on a 10 year cycle.
I can't see a writer or narrative director being overly helpful to finish the game as it is now, but I can see it being beneficial for future content releases which MS has said they have planned.
@L7
"funny how nobody said that shit about the last guardian"
TLG. You mean the game that was the poster child for Sony's delayed and troubled projects that constantly got mocked for being in development for ages?
This is for Loser 7 waiting in the Chapel for a wife to show up.....sure bud, the engine took them all 5 years to develop? Really?? So what were the rest of the 1000+ people doing in the meantime? Obviously not creating detailed assets, textures, decent sound, etc. Just ask Craig...he has your answer....twat.
@ L7CHAPEL So for God of War they had to (gasp) create a whole new engine! Then...get this...they had to make a good game using that engine! Crazy right!!? And THEN....wait for it....they showed off that game when it was 2 years away from coming out and it looked GREAT! Then when it came out it turned to be the BEST....all in the space of just over 5 years. So what was your limp excuse again!? That's what I thought.....ask Phil to put it in deeper.....I can't hear you gagging yet.
@Captain Henry No, it wasn't in development for five years.
they started working on the engine 5 years ago, the game was announced in 2018, same time they announced the acquisition of all their other studios.
they had barely begun in earnest building it and putting it together.
and them bringing in the person who wrote the first three, doesn't mean he's writing on it...he was overseeing a lot of their other games for the past 6 years, now he's creative lead which is nothing but good news. no matter WHAT is said you guys are just going to be negative, that's how you WANT to be about it.
so much doom and gloom/ fake bullshit concern, I know all you naysayers just care so much 🙄
but of course it's to be expected, it's about 80% Microsoft haters on this site...
can't wait for you guys to sit around and hypothesize and build the next fake narrative surrounding the game, seeing as it being delayed over a year and the Xbox one version of it being canceled, was proven to be bullshit. now you have to move on to the next thing (lie) f***ing pathetic.
@L7Chapel
Development can start alongside the engine. Which, btw, takes roughly two years to make, and games take roughly 3 years to make. They gave us the original release date and only changed it 3 months before launch. Don't blame us for pointing out how it wasn't ready, and for complaining they showed it to us with clear downgrades from a two year old trailer. Only to delay it so close to launch and blame it on COVID, not lack of quality.
Phil even stated he looked at all these games before that show and that they looked great. They didn't even realize it wasn't ready and all the issues with it. 3 months before launch. Not until public outrage did they realize. So incompetent.
@L7, they announced the game with a trailer. Which means they had to have time beforehand to make said trailer. Hence the game has been in development since the previous one released. The announcement was made because they felt confident in where they were (in the development cycle) to announce it.
It can be a positive effect on the game, but it’s also not a good sign. Originally HI was supposed to launch this fall, but only now these two have been brought in, after the delay? How was this game gonna ship? Like Street Fighter V with a story mode added much later? With a tentative release date of 2021, a new lead for the narrative, can only mean that their campaign was either incomplete or terrible, or both.
I would agree but Joseph was also the lead writer on ReCore and Crackdown 3.. So im shakey putting down any stock on it...
ReCore and the SP side of CD3 (the story) are both really good. CD3 gets shamed for their 'cloud powa' narrative, which is not part of the story side of the game.
What comparing this to a masterpiece hahhaa its a fps the easiest thing to do next to arcade racing games specially when is a known ip is not like they are creating some new or unique. Last guardian IA and animation are the most advanced in any game ever that animal feels so real is amazing but like every of their games is always underrated and appreciate in a near future look at sotc for example. Anywas halo infinit looks and plays like a 360 game and is running on a 2k high end pc with 5 years of development and 500 million dollars its a shame lol eve. That Chinese game made by 1 dude looks better smoother hahahaha
Sorry, posted in the wrong place. I will repost it just for you sunshine.
Only, with the game originally coming out this year, what actually can he bring to the project, if, there were no real issues in the first place?
This is gonna be a year long delay... Clearly there was way more wrong with this game than just the graphics..........
Yeah, the type of people they just added to the staff is not the kind that you add because you want to polish the graphics and squash all the bugs with these "extra few months" of development.
Don't forget that they intend this to be a 10 year GaaS game. So, they are just preparing for post launch content, probably.
It's still worrying that they keep grasping several different writers to make all these different game storylines. They announce a new trilogy for the game.. and have a different writer for each game in the trilogy... This is already why the story is inconsistent, ruins past themes and concepts, and why it's dredging on. Oh, and why it's so clearly a money grabbing generic storyline from generic sci-fi authors cashing in on it to then write something else afterward.
How are we supposed to have an exciting build up to another story when everything is always just, lets add a new enemy and up the difficulty, and each game is so separated in concept and design. Unexplained changes, creative liberties without worry of incoherent plot, and just being made for the sake of getting paid. Not because good ideas were present prior to wanting to start development. You should be going into business with good ideas. Not just, lets make X and sell it for Y, lets follow these steps to do it.
I am not sure that is a bad thing at all. The way things are looking, many launch games will be delayed or ship incomplete. I had already decided launch wasn't good enough for either new next gen console. Really the Halo delay solidified my thought process for both consoles.
Also, Sony started accepting applications for pre-orders yesterday. Still no price. This is really concerning me that these new consoles may even go above $499 at launch. Which would also reduce demand.
The more I look at the situation with COVID and the lack of really great content at launch, the more I feel that we won't see anything really worth buying until holiday 2021.
" Clearly there was way more wrong with this game than just the graphics"
/v/ said it
the women lol
Peter Moore sentenced Microsoft in a path that made more harm than good to the enterprise. The console brand of Xbox was designed to attack Sony Playstation in the cheapest way possible instead of competing with them in game quality. For better or worse MS is investing too little on the console names and the quality of their prime IPs. Trying to play on two consoles of different generations where a compromising move with devastating results.
They had to rewind....
Microsoft, has the money for a great Ip development but they are not used to hard work. It's not too late tho. They must invest time and money in it. Sure Halo Infinite could be great but what they did with the franchise was an assassination. Microsoft wrote Crack Dawn 3 all over it when everybody was expecting a next generation title. What surprises me is why MS shows a game that has serious issues on the story line and the graphics. Why they risk a full generation start when the easiest thing was to show something worthy for a reveal.
Microsoft seems to not be interested on games but on services at this point. Can't be more obvious. I'm not saying that Halo Reach could not be great but I wonder if MS is deeply interested in scoring a hit after all the debacle they are getting everywhere.
Starting to sound a lot like crackdown, I hope they can turn it around but clearly more wrong here than just the graphics engine. I hope for the halo fans it turns out well, they don't deserve this.
343 just don't seem to understand why the original bungie games were so loved. This can only be a good thing
I hope so, the halo fans are some of microsofts most important, be a shame for them to get something not up to scratch, hopefully they can turn it around.
I know why i loved them... the story. So if this guy was a writer on those first three then this is going to be good. 4 had a good story but weak MP. 5 was a weak story but good MP. 6 should be the culmination of both, and restore order to the galaxy.
I like the lore too, I can't comment on halo 5 as I'm yet to play it(lack of time, not lack of interest), but I've always enjoyed them(reach being my favourite), I just hope fans of the series get what they deserve.
Phil S: "Ok guys, here's a cheque each, now as you can see I've signed it but left the amount there blank, so feel free to add your own number, but please lets keep it below $500 million, hahahahah!
OK, Pierre, you're going to help out with the, ahem, 'free to play', mulitplayer experience side, so please can you go to the stock room and get that huge vat of turd polish, including that leftover from Crackdown 3.
Joseph, you're in charge of the campaign story, so we'll need that huge bag of turd glitter that's in the car park, yes it's a new bag.
I'll just send a tweet now, telling the internet that I can't wait for them to see what we've got for them next year!"
/s
I own all platforms, if you want to talk about a polished turd let bring up TLOU2 or maybe the far cry 3 3rd person clone HZD.
Don't get me wrong TLOU1 was and still is 1 of my favourite games but all these 3rd person games are getting very much alike, I mean GOW is as boring as hell "Boy come here" " boy" over and over, I could not bring myself to finish GOW nor TLOU2 they got very boring very quickly.
HZD was ok but just felt like I'd done all this before e.g climb towers to open map, take enemy bases without them setting off alarms, crafting arrows, quiver and all the other stuff from hurting animals, finding all the messages
Sad that you chose 3 GOTY and critically acclaimed games as an attempt to prove your incoherent point about polished turds. Epic fail man
Why did they just now have Staten return to the team when they could've had him since Halo 5? He's been with MS since 2014.
it's just them trying to create positive news but acording to some comments here like you said this guys been working part time on this outdated overpriced turd.
This game is trying to be split screen on semi open world running on th sad hahahaha they couldn't even do split screen on halo 5 which was smaller linear why will they think they can do it with a bigger game hahahaha.
Unless they drop current gen and del and start from zero it will be turd.
You can polish turd and make it shine but it will still be turd.
The game so needs to drop the silly ranched n clack childish themed silly enemies and bring the franchise to a mature themed setting
Staten was tied up as lead writer on a bunch of MS projects like Sunset Overdrive, Recore, Crackdown 3 and Scalebound (waste of time) at the time.
He was wasted on those projects, especially Crackdown 3 and Scalebound. Is leadership this bad they assign people like him to lead lower end projects while their high end suffers?
I'm not sure what it is but MS seems to have problems getting what games they are making out the door. This, Crackdown took almost the whole generation, Scalebound might be got forever. The only thing ever coming out is Forza and Gears ever couple of years.
I like to believe many of their new studios will be fairly autonomous and get games done. I'm a PS and PC guy but MS needs a win.
I want to see them score a win, because if they win with this then players win, but Microsoft don't 'deserve' it unless they've put in the requisite work.
If we're talking in terms of this generation as a whole, then no. Microsoft have been coasting. If they 'deserve' anything, it's failure. But I'm not a fan of talking in such terms. I want them to wake the hell up, put in good work, deliver a good product, and *then* get a win.
They've become unaccustomed to this pattern, but it's not too late.
If they do it, then they would deserve the win. Or, at least, 343 would.
All it takes is a desire to win and do good work. MS, however, wants a win that gives them what they want, not a win of just doing good work. While this can be said of any company really, there is a difference between winning by giving the customers what they want, and winning trying to get what you want. Sony and Nintendo tend to win by giving the customers what they want. They don't please everyone, but they please as many as they can withing their own areas of customers or potential customers. MS OTOH, wants to be everything to everybody, and end up only being something to some people. But the number of those people seem to be shrinking because they are putting their own interests first.
Geez I didn't think hoping MS could release some good games would be so controversial. haha
I wondering if Halo:Infinite could be the most expensive meme in history? This is just another reactionary move from MS, which is all they seem to do nowadays. If the gameplay trailer was met with less criticism, the game wouldn't of been delayed, talk about MS grade rose tinted glasses.
with the army of assholes that are always against them, (this being God knows how many threads I've read over the years) of just more pile on, it was going to be met with less criticism ?
really ?
if it's any sort of bad news it's hyped as being a hundred times worse.
if it's any sort of good or positive news,
it's going to be spun into being bad news.
as if this very article doesn't prove that point, decisively.
You're sensitive af. You need to devote your energy on the cause of the clear problem not those highlighting them.
The management of the project by the team and the team themselves by Microsoft has not been good. Now the meme will live for a long time and the reputation of Microsoft as nurturer of talent takes another hit. What compounds the negativity is the speak by certain higher ups that inferred how confident they felt after seeing Sony's show only to witness one of the biggest let downs in gaming hype. . . . . . .bro. . . . Have a word with that guy
@the wood your, and everyone elses bulshit complete speculation narratives are the problem, and you're one of those people that's proving exactly what I'm saying.
the sky is always falling with you guys, it's always such a disaster...
again just like they were going to kill the Xbox one version and it's going to be delayed and now you guys are just making up more and more bullshit, next it'll be:
the "game's been in development for 10 years" and they've "had 30 different developers" on it ... nothing but a title Wave of shit coming from people that don't know what they're talkin about to begin with, simply for the sake of it..
just get tired of listening to so many parroting idiots..
shouldn't you guys be *registering so you *can pre-order your consoles?(!) that you don't even know the price of yet? (how gracious of them by the way) at least they're not taking you guys for granted right ?
let me think ...🤔
now, if that we're done the other way around,(MS) what would the narrative be...?
nothing but f***ing hypocrites.
The moisture is killing me softly. Highlighting clear issues isn't doom and glooming. . Man up because if there wasn't fans from all camps including you own. .you'd have that piece of crap as your system seller and look stupider than they do now. Stop kappin for the billion dollar company's missteps as you ain't getting a dime
You need to chill bro. A hug perhaps? Next time don't let team Xbox lie and hype so much. Maybe that way the community will respect them.
Realistically, L7... Do you know anyone that honestly believes that the showing for HALO: Infinite was good?.. The criticism is more than deserved. If I were creating an indie game for this and next gen consoles there is no way in hell that I would allow it to be shown looking like that, let alone the biggest franchise on the platform.
I seem to remember there being a similar issue with Halo 2 where the project was completely off the rails and they had to bring back the original's creative lead to sort it out.
They've realised there is an issue with the project and acted on it. Will probably result in a longer delay than initially expected but hopefully an infinitely better final product (if you'll pardon the pun).
If they are drafted into help it means theres development problems. Once games are chopped and changed like this it never ends up good
Example? What you said is usually true for films, but I'm not so sure it is for videogames.
It'll probably be 3 to 5 years before release, they probably scrapped what little they developed & starting from scratch.
I don't think what they had was beyond fixing. But it looked to require a lot of work.
That this is happening so late in development isn't exactly encouraging, especially with regards to a potential release date.
And maybe it's not as late in development as we're being led to believe. And I honestly feel like these guys barely know what they're doing with this game narrative-wise, worries that this announcement lends credence too.
Still, hopefully it's a positive in the long-term. I really want this to be good. Despite everything, Halo is still special to me and I want to see them succeed in a big way.
maybe they can help fix this mess and turn it around some. who know. wonder how long it will be delayed.
If this has only been in development since 2018ish then there’s absolutely no chance it was ever making a 2020 release.
Sounds like damage control, can’t see anybody promising a flagship game like Halo that has to run across generations to be ready in that time frame.
How much can they change before the release? I mean it almost seems like they need to do a drastic overhaul.
Well, this is good news and bad. Good, that they brought in two vets that have a strong history of putting out great games. Bad, it indicates that the game has some bigger issues.......On that note, the original Halo was basically finished in one year, because Bungie had to switch gears after MS bought them. Who knows, with the large team they have assembled. History could repeat.
That's actually good news. Maybe they can help get Infinite on track and deliver a worthy Halo game for their fans.
Great news in the face of what was happening.
I'm just glad they are taking this seriously, and hope we will end up with a game worthy of the Halo name. I have plenty of other game to play, especially with 2 new systems arriving soon and a possible Switch pro coming. Delay as long as they need to make it great.
I get the backlash over halo infinite not looking too good graphics wise but everyone is talking as if theyve played through the whole story and multiplayer and its terrible lol. I think other than the graphics the game looks like its gonna be quite good.
Both men are bearded and chopping wood at same undisclosed remote location. A black SUV with dark tinted windows pulls up to the property, from which Phil Spencer emerges sporting a HALO shirt under his suit coat.
"It's been some time, gentleman" he starts, pulling from his coat pocket a pack of the finest cuban cigars. "It would seem we are in need of your services again" he continues, placing a cigar in his mouth and offering one to each of the other men.
"You know we don't do that kind of thing anymore" Joseph responds, with Pierre only nodding solemnly. "Did I mention these are gold tipped?" Phil answers while lighting his cigar. Both men reluctantly take the cigars, and Phil smiles wryly at them.
"That's more like it" Phil states, getting in between both men and planting a firm hand on each of their shoulders. "Gentlemen..." he pauses and takes a long puff off the cigar, blowing out the smoke in front of them without a care for etiquette. "Let's get cleaned up and try and salvage this thing" Phil finishes as he forces both men into the SUV.
Yeah this does not sound like he is going to shape the game in any way whatsoever, instead just make sure that the campaign team is well organized and bring the order, to prevent the game from slipping further down the timeline. Time will tell
Halo always had tight gameplay, they just need to redo the assets and get the look right
Do you think they can get it to run on a console? Kidding. This might be some welcoming news to Halo fans.
The game just needs some simple fixes they said. It will take no time at all they said... Now look at the harsh reality. They are still hiring people to write the story of the campaign.
They really was confident enough to showcase this game at their event and had a release window three months out but it’s in such a bad state that they have to bring in more writers? This is a crazy mismanagement story.
Hopefully in the end it turns out great.
Sony needs to quit wasting its time on mid-tier and free-to-play games like Drawn to Death and Kill Strain. Nobody wants them. They want quality games.
I'll say it again...what some folks may think is garbage someone else may think it's a treasure.Different strokes for different folks.
Diversity.
Not everyone wants to play Forza 7, or Mario's Fantastic Voyage 18.
What kind of nonsense is this? PlayStation is pumping more exclusives than both Microsoft and Nintendo combined. Whatayawant you ungrateful sacks of dung.
Yeah, and that's what the author ignores. That their desires aren't everyone's desires. He may have a point if Sony didn't also have the kind of games that he claims to want....at least according to the description because I refuse to give cheatcc a click....but they most certainly do, and those games he says no one wants don't take up much time in Sony's marketing, and likely aren't getting huge resources behind them.
I can think of a ton of the mid-tier or lower budget games from Sony which have gone down in history as some of my favorites. Some games they have that didn't sell so well have been some great experiences. I'm not into every Sony game, but should we give up things like Hot Shots golf because it's not AAA? What about Gravity Rush, Freedom Wars, Puppeteer, or Dreams? LBP didn't start off as a AAA title, it just had that kind of quality to it.
The only time releasing these kinds of games is a problem, is when it's the only kind of games that they release. Even then, it just means I wouldn't be that interested in the products(see MS right now), and I'd willingly accept there are others that might actually like it. I'd never say they don't need those games, or need to drop them, Id just say they need to make more games that would cater to more people.
Well I would have agreed before you consider sales. So, I'm not saying they have no place(small games) but, they are not getting the horizon/uncharted sales.
That's probably okay as long as their budget isn't big like AAA titles you mentioned, I imagine any reasonable person would do their best analysis and adjusted the budget to meet sales expectations (doesn't always work that way though).
Umm.. what? we get quality AAA games and it's nothing wrong with having free-to-play games. Did you really wanna play a game called Gnomageddon? that sounds like trash and i'm glad Sony cancelled it. I know these cheap games tend to be terrible, but it's just something to play when buying the console.
As long as sony continues to make epic single player games i don't really care about their multiplayer excursions from time to time
I'm sitting here reading the headline, and then the excerpt, and I'm asking myself how do you cherry pick a couple less popular games while you just act like the rest of the catalog isn't a thing.. And then I see dispatches.cheatcc and I post this and leave.
There's enough room for both, plus...can anyone really truly complain about a lack of great quality games on PS4?
Lol what?? We just gonna ignore horizon, nier, persona, nioh, gravity rush 2, MLB the show, Yakima, tales of bersia, ff12 re, crash bandicoot, Wipe out and so many other big exclusive games that have released this year just so you can make a crap atricle....okay
I get what the author is attempting to say. I don't think she was knocking Sony per se. If it's going to be a free-to-play model, then it needs to be a beefy one, not something pumped out as f2p just for the sake of f2p. I understand that. I've played multiple f2p, but very few warrant my attention.
What a clickbait article ! Are they seriously try to get attention ? Because it didn't work out as they thought.
Hey Jenni how does someone who's so terrible at coming up with articles become the Site Editor for Cheat CC?
I think the writer of this article has to get the facts right. The PS4 has had more major exclusives released for it this year than at any other time. The rival console has one release as compared with over 15 for the PS4 this year and this writer is asking Sony to get on the ball? Drinking from the Microsoft through maybe?
When is this website going the way of Hip Hop Gamer? Nothing but click bait and hyperbole.
Remember when this site used to be a cheat code database and not a clickbait mill?
While Drawn to Death really wasn't me and lacked half a year of polish or so at release, it definitely has potential to be fun. Some of my friends play it once in a while just because of the sheer insanity of it :D
Besides, Let It Die anyone? That one is freakin' addictive ^^
Honestly, as long as it's good, who cares dude. At least they still have a load of exclusives getting pumped out. Whether or not some of those are free and below AAA standards doesn't mean it can't be fun to play.
LOL WTF???
NiOh
Yakuza
Nier Automata
Horizon Zero Dawn
MLB The Show 2017
Persona 5
Crash N Sane Trilogy
Nex Machina
Hellblade
Uncharted The Lost Legacy
Plus still to come...
Everybody's Golf
GT Sport
Knack 2
Matterfall
I mean, Jesus! What more could Sony do???
Yes drawn to death and kill strain are trash imo. But there are others that love them. One man's trash is another man's treasure. And Sony isn't wasting time there putting out tons of exclusives.
Sony has been on the ball since the release of the PS4. Saying otherwise comes from someone who's delusional.
If you said "Get on the Ball, Microsoft", then that would be a different story. Microsoft hasn't been on the ball ONCE since the release of the Xbone. They can't figure their heads from their asses at this point, and just dump a load of mediocre and subpar releases onto their consumers heads who love to convince themselves it's anything but(t).
"Get on the Ball, Sony"... lol... what a lot of phooey. Thinly veiled fanboism at its finest.
I would only agree if I were not too many top notch games on the PS4.
I really don't mind Sony spending time on these different games when the base is covered lock stock and barrel.
Besides I love these different games. Variety is great not only for gamers but for the gaming industry. It helps with innovation.
"Incredibly imminent". What does that even mean?
Didn't driveclub, Uncharted 4 also were targeting 1080p and 60fps and couldn't do it? And those were large retail games and if they are still trying to target 1080p and 60fps for a small game like Kill Strain, then that is not looking good for this gen consoles.
Not to be a Debbie Downer but every PS4 1st party Dev has come out so far and said they are targeting 1080 60 but only 1 has done it (MLB the show) not an overly demanding game. Is this gonna be different?
Wow I never thought that Sony San Diego is also developing a sci-fi games other than Sports.. Oh wait, San Diego was the former 989 Studios that made Twisted metal and Syphon filter, am I right?
