The Xbox One exclusive Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness is going to be released soon in Japan, on May 28th, and todat Mages. released a brand new batch of screenshots, showcasing the game's SmartGlass features.
After watching the anime series I wouldn't mind this game coming stateside!
Psycho Pass is awesome. I hope it comes out in the west.
Funimation dubbed the 2nd season in record time (for an anime), so I'd expect the same treatment for the movie... perhaps they'll do the game at the same time? I hope so... Psycho-Pass is the best sci-fi anime since Ghost in the Shell.
How many episodes behind?
I'm not sure I understand your question... if you're asking how much of the show I've watched, I've seen the first season and the first episode of the second. I really want to play this game before I watch any more... it's set during the first season and I'm a stickler for continuity.
I meant how close is the dub to the sub? The closest I've ever seen is like 4-5 episodes
Ah... well, it's hard to say. Probably not that fast... I'm pretty sure the entire second season was dubbed in one session, but I don't know how the show was scheduled in Japan. The guy put me onto the first season said it was the fastest he'd seen an anime dubbed... but yeah - they're yet to start a 3rd season and the movie's a standalone release, so it's hard to say just how quickly the game could be localised. It has an English website, so I'd expect an announcement soonish... E3 perhaps?
Funimation started that with Fullmetal Alchemist:Brotherhood. Glad to see they've kept it up with another great series. This game would be a reason to get an XB1, but I get the feeling it'll wind up multiplat in the same way as Steins;Gate.
Possibly... still, that took years to happen, so I wouldn't count on it.
Can you check what colour your Psycho-Pass is?
Yup... and you can take calls from the various characters, which is pretty cool. That said, I imagine your character's actions and dialogue choices will determine your hue - so be careful with your Enforcers... those guys can be a 'bad' influence.
