May the 19th sees two big games going head to head when the hit stores or digital releases, the question is asked, which one will you be playing?
The Witcher 3 all the way!!! I traded in destiny about a month after its release
a month? I throw it back with game stop with their 7 days policy lol
There is no release battle. Stop trying to create problems.... There are enough natural ones as it is.
To be fair though, the title of the article is asking for a preference btweent he two titles.
the only advantage I think Destiny has over the Witcher III is the price 19 bucks against 59.99, but everything in that Destiny DLC freaking SUCKS!!!!!!!!! so I really don't know if thats an advantage lol.
Not if you have a gaming PC. I bought the Witcher 3 for $25.
Not an advantage. 19 bucks is only for a DLC which is about 2/3 of the Witcher 3 entire game. To me, the DLC is too expensive.
And quite frankly with the amount of content in the Witcher 3 it outdoes it on value big time. I was on the fence about house of wolves as I don't buy much DLC (at all) but after seeing the PoE livestream I was sold. Witcher, MK3 and HoW, gonna have a lot to play
I'm not big on open world games ( I feel lost when i play them but its due to my fault). But if I was into open world games, the Witcher 3 would be a no brainer. but since I've already bought the season pass for Destiny, i will be playing the H.O.W DLC.
NOPE House of Wolves will be better sorry, millions will play it over witcher
Destiny DLC for me. The Witcher 3 looks like something I'll try eventually but I'm still slogging my way through Dragon Age Inquisition and TW3 looks too much like that game, bad combat and all.
Dragon Age Inquisition and Witcher 3 take pretty antithetical approaches to the whole open-world fantasy RPG concept. I can only assume you haven't been paying attention.
Combat in Witcher 3 looks really good! This is the main plus for it over Dragon Age for me, as well as being able to use multiple types of attack. Got frustrated in DAI by being stuck with the class I started with and having no flexibility between using long range, melee, and magic.
Have fun playing the same level a thousand times over instead playing one of the best RPGs of the year.
Witcher 3s combat is fantastic don't know where you got that idea from. Parry, dodge, strike when there's an opening, switch signs on the fly. It's vastly superior to witcher 2.
That sounds exactly like Witcher 2. And most reviews state that the combat is largely unchanged. And, TBH, TW2's combat wasn't all that good. It was salvaged mostly by a decent difficulty curve.
Witcher full time .
Witcher 3 not even a contest.
Destiny, because no money for a new game and can't trade digital copy.
Well considering one is an expansion and the other a whole new game, why not both?
Throw in the next episode of Life Is Strange for good measure. ;)
WITCHer! Burn more witches!!!!
Witcher of course...is this even a thing?
both, the witcher as my to go game after work and Destiny to end my nights
The Witcher 3. I've been waiting for this for a long time! This, bloodborne, mgsv and ffxv are the games I've been most excited about since I've got my ps4.
Skipping both. Getting Batman next month. I'm still pretty into Helldivers to be honest.
destiny dlc is 3 hours of content, so witcher all the way.
How would you know? It's not out yet.
So you're saying you'll be able to hit the level cap, get the new gear, play through all 3 tiers of prison of elders, win a trials of Osiris tournament, do all the story missions and exhaust the MP in 3 hours? I agree though, I'm looking forward to the Witcher more of course, much bigger bang for your buck, but HoW will be fun also.
Both for me. One is single player the other is multi player so they will both get their own play time. Witcher when my son is in bed or at school, Destiny when he is home or awake for some co-op. Choosing one or the other rather than both is something I don't do often with games I like. But majority of my time will be TW3. Many nights with little sleep coming ahead.
No contest...Witcher 3. I haven't even thought about Destiny for over 8 months
The game has only been out for 8 months -_-
Destiny first, but getting both!
Splattoon for me :D
Destiny is meh, so is no brainer getting tw3
Yeah, I already had my Destiny Season pass, but when I saw Witcher III was 20% off I jumped on it.
Searching for a Final Fantasy.
Got witcher 3 and both expansions already, picked up excellent Final Fantasy X HD and pre ordered Batman Arkham Knight. It's going to be fun few months to come. :)
Destiny ALL THE WAY, witcher looks bland and boring, didn't play the last two so I couldn't care less
I wanted to play the Witcher, however I recently started playing with people online again in Destiny. That is the main thing that is fun about Destiny, playing with others. In the mean time I will be reading the The World of the Witcher to learn about the history of the world. Once I'm done I will start The withcer 3, that is my plan.
I never got into the Witcher series, those giant open world games are too eh for me. Witcher 3 looks great and if it is your cup of tea then you'll love it. I am pumped for HoW and anxiously waiting for E3 (Gears and Mass Effect)
