Look, that is like half a gig. Have we already come to expect every game to have 10GB update files?

Usually only really broken games have such large patches.

MysticStrummer1255d ago (Edited 1255d ago )

The day one update has already had its changelog and file size shown. The PS4 preloads started earlier today... About 482 MB

"Major changes:
- Support for DLCs

Go to your library, click on the Witcher 3 game, and hit download from there. It'll download the game and patch.

Are framerate drops confirmed?

wegetsignalx1255d ago

The Witcher 3 framerate on PS4 is fine. It will improve with further patching, like most modern games that get patched.

So I should throw my money at a product that doesn't work properly? Why do you people do this. I was going to preorder this Friday until they unveiled that the review copies weren't done(what?).

So I'm not buying it until it's "all patched up". My sixty dollars is worth more than that.

That being said, I am really hoping that is sooner rather than later, as I am really wanting to play this game.

The_Noid1254d ago

Wait....are you saying it has framerate issues? You were a little vague about it in your post.

tough choice I'm having cause i got both console.. idk which one, Im going get cause, i got witcher 2 free on 360..

Paytaa1255d ago

It's all down to your preference since the 360 version of The Witcher 2 doesn't carry over your progress to the Xbox One version although the PC version does. Pretty sure CDPR said that there will be in game dialogue in The Witcher 3 that references decisions made in The Witcher 2 so you can streamline that process in-game.

rdgneoz31255d ago

Yep, they said options to let your choices carry over.

"For the PS4 version, the executive producer mentioned that they could use an interactive question and answer feature similar to what Bioware did with “Mass Effect 2” on the PS3."
