Insider Tidux confirms that The Witcher 3 day one patch will be less than 500MB,a source that we could consider reliable looking at some history between him and some CD Projekt RED guys.
Look, that is like half a gig. Have we already come to expect every game to have 10GB update files?
sorry this is not Xbone or PC :D ***Runs away with pride**
Bubble's for the lolz good sir!
Usually only really broken games have such large patches.
Hope it fixes the framerate issues heard/read it was pretty bad on ps4 @MysticStrummer Yeah i have watched a few streams as well with obvious frame drops plus the devs at cdpr stated they know ps4 has framerate issue and they hope to have it fixed by launch Confirms ps4 has framerate issues.jus saying i saw the framerate issues and cd project red confirmed it
Not from what I saw watching streams. Looked fine.
I concur. I was walking some streams last night and it looked smooth to me.
The day one update has already had its changelog and file size shown. The PS4 preloads started earlier today... About 482 MB http://gearnuke.com/witcher... "Major changes: - Support for DLCs - Multiple stability issues fixed - Overall performance improvements"
I have issues when i try to download it from psn, it display me an error code, do you pre-downloaded already??
Go to your library, click on the Witcher 3 game, and hit download from there. It'll download the game and patch.
Are framerate drops confirmed?
The Witcher 3 framerate on PS4 is fine. It will improve with further patching, like most modern games that get patched.
So I should throw my money at a product that doesn't work properly? Why do you people do this. I was going to preorder this Friday until they unveiled that the review copies weren't done(what?). So I'm not buying it until it's "all patched up". My sixty dollars is worth more than that. That being said, I am really hoping that is sooner rather than later, as I am really wanting to play this game.
Wait....are you saying it has framerate issues? You were a little vague about it in your post.
getting ripped off on patch sizes now too? pre-order cancelled! /s
tough choice I'm having cause i got both console.. idk which one, Im going get cause, i got witcher 2 free on 360..
It's all down to your preference since the 360 version of The Witcher 2 doesn't carry over your progress to the Xbox One version although the PC version does. Pretty sure CDPR said that there will be in game dialogue in The Witcher 3 that references decisions made in The Witcher 2 so you can streamline that process in-game.
Yep, they said options to let your choices carry over. "For the PS4 version, the executive producer mentioned that they could use an interactive question and answer feature similar to what Bioware did with “Mass Effect 2” on the PS3."
witcher 3 looks amaazing I'm thinking either cop it on local store where they break release date or pre order it on amazon
Dell site is giving a free $15 gift card with this, i think it ends tonight. Used my previous Dell card towards this and got it for $36! Sign up for free rewards with them and always get 10% back along with free next day shipping on all your orders. I stopped with amazon and have been going through Dell. They always are giving away free gift cards over there!
500mb is an absolutely great sign, that's what i call a finished game. AC unity patches took up more memory than an average game's install size.
It's not that the patch was that size. the download that was the "patch" re-downloaded and installed whole chunks of the game along with installing an actual patch. That's why it was so big. It wasn't just a patch. You can look that up if you don't believe me.
..really...where are Xbone reviews??
