Kotaku: "Hm, what have we here? While watching today’s Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate reveal, reader Adam Curtis spotted something odd: a brief shot of a muscular man tank who definitely appears to be Brock Lesnar. Let’s do a quick comparison."
Is this guy some kind of expert on backs?
Seeing as Lesnar has been in WWE and UFC matches, he's somewhat recognizable to some people. And seeing as he has a huge a$$ tattoo on his back (and the same hair cut), it helps as well.
One of the comments via the website. "Did someone use a screenshot from UFC game and just “artsy” it up? That what it looks like to me. The poses look like they are straight from the game." The more you look at it, the more viable this seems. If true, wow.... new low for ubi! Even the weapons look like added on extras that don't look consistent.
Might be him. He could be at Ubisoft's e3 press conference.
Eat. Sleep. Assassinate. Repeat.
^ this lol
its brock. they even got brock's slim ballerina legs right.
Damn sure looks like Lesnar to me. Suplex City is gonna become Assassinate City
It is a fighting pit which were pretty common in London around this era. Perhaps it ties into the story and a character that Brock is portraying as champ.
Look, this is concept art as a concept artist myself we artists use reference from multiple sources to convey a scene. Concept art takes a lot of time to make and we need to get the art to the game leads for approval as quick as possible. So taking a screen grab or photo-smashing a pic into a concept to speed up the process is normal. This artist used a screen grab of Lesnar v Mir shot probably from a UFC fight or even the UFC game itself to get the concept across. The laymen took this out of context and assume Lesnar (& Mir) where in the game....He's (they are) not.
Suplex City Victorian style bitch!
