Great list! My childhood was awesome with games like Rayman 2, psychonauts, jet set radio, spyro, ratchet and clank, crash and my personal favourite jak and daxter. Need more games like those to come around! I meant to play the last tinker but never got around to it. Such a great list, thanks for the flash back :)

Thanks for reading! Glad you enjoyed it. I hope Yooka-Laylee and crowdfunding can start a resurgence of sorts. Get publishers to finance these titles again.

Yeah I hope so too. I said in another post that I've enjoyed knack and ori (i know not 3d) so far this gen and with yooka laylee coming and the reboot of ratchet and clank along with a sequal, seems like we could be getting the good old days back! :D
I just need another game like jak and daxter, that game (series) is my favorite from the ps2 days. I'd also like to see another game with the creativity and comedic value of psychonauts, that game was a real surprise! Shame it wasn't until PS360 gen that I played it so it's technically not part of my childhood xD

I can't wait for the new Ratchet & Clank! Into the Nexus was really awesome, a return to form, but it was short and left me wanting more more MORRREEE!!
