Final Fantasy XV Active Time Report – Prelim Feedback Special

During the latest Active Time Event broadcast, Final Fantasy XV Game Director Hajime Tabata shared some really blunt (and at times hilarious) feedback about the Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae demo.

The story is too old to be commented.

"8.3 out of 100?"

"No, no. We'd be doomed."

Oh my, I laughed so hard.

Here are a few highlights that I wrote from the ATR

-Gladio was the most liked character, Prompto least liked
-Lockon issues are being address
-Camera is being fixed and they may add custom camera controls
-May add custom button layouts
-They are addressing the AI getting in the player's way or dying on you without doing much (AKA Prompto)
-No AA in demo but it will be there in full game
-Still aiming for full HD but frame rate and objects on screen are more important
-May add a mini-map
-Full game will have non MP-use dodging as well as warp dodging.
-Might get difficulty options
-Attack canceling evades added but not all attacks can be evaded
-Character quests might be added to demo
-They want to release 2.0 of the demo as patch but it depends on schedule, will use 2.0 for events
-Rebalancing the time spent recovering MP and fighting
-Noctis English VA has been re-recorded already to make him sound younger and bring out his personality
-No major E3 presence, they are working towards Gamescom/TGS

Oh what the hell?! I liked Noctis's voice. I didn't want him to sound like a whiny idiot (remembers Tidus's voice in previous ff)

It makes me sad that people don't like Prompto.
