Exactly. So what? To be honest I would've never know he was gay if it wasn't for articles, so I don't even think the bigots would notice when playing the game.

nowhere did the game say he was gay. for all that quote about who he disires could have been a women for all we know. its obvious the person who confirmed he was gay was only doing so to cause controversy.

Why would sexuality be brought up in a fighting game anyways? Tired of this pro-gay agenda being shoved down our throats everywhere we go. Keep political/moral issues out of gaming.

It's more of a "diversity" agenda rather than pro-gay, & i agree that if their going to push an agenda, have it make sense, sexual preferance is irrelevent in a fightin game

You might not know this, but Mortal Kombat is pretty story heavy for a fighter. This means the relationships and interactions between characters is more important than, say, Street Fighter. Having a gay character- just one, for crying out loud- is hardly shoving a "pro-gay" agenda down anyone's throats. It's not even blatant.

"shoving a 'pro gay' agenda down anybody's throats"

I see what you did there.

Seeing how viciously you seem to hate any thing gay, can you imagine how a character being gay may cause some conflict in their life at some point. It got brought up because it bothered him enough to leave home. I love how you can be the very example of why it might get brought up but at the same time be completely ignorant of it.

Quofo1396d ago

Disagree and hate are two different things. Not everyone can be a liberal like yourself. Anytime you disagree with a liberal, you're either "hateful" or a "bigot". Cry me a river.

Fireseed1396d ago

No. anytime you disagree with a Conservative they cry and bitch that they aren't getting their way. Simple example, Kung Jin isn't running around exclaiming "Be gay! Convert! Convert!" he simply makes even the faintest hint as to how his life has been and yet you're crying about a "pro-gay agenda".

Funnily enough it's pointing out how being gay has made his life more difficult, and yet that's "pro-gay"...

But we have classic examples of other characters stating their beleifs such as Matt Murdock mentioning that he's catholic in Daredevil. But for some reason I dont see an outcry from liberal groups about it cause the majority of them accept others and their differences. Once again leading credence to the Conservative mantra of "Why aren't you tolerating my intolerance?"
