Sony Computer Entertainment just made Bloodborne's patch 1.03 available for download on the PSN, but besides what was listed in the official patch notes, the update also introduces another lovely feature.
I love those modes. Shame you don't see them much any more. Most fun I have had with a multiplayer game was doing the Shivan Gauntlet (endless survival vs. Increasingly difficult waves of enemies) in Free space 2 at a LAN arcade.
While I don't have a PS4 yet I am waiting for the Witcher 3 to come out and hopefully there will be a bundle that is attractive. Of course the bundle would not only have to have The Witcher 3 but also Bloodborne as well and if possible Dark Souls 2 and/or Dragon Age - Inquisition.
Now the problem becomes what to do about some of my PS3 games which I am still having a great time playing. Good grief I still have PS2 games that I would not mind replaying and I do have a BC PS3.
The more I read about Bloodborne (I try not to read spoilers) the more this game is becoming a "must have" and the concept of randomly generated dungeons (aka Chalace dungeons) this game has so much re-playability it's almost criminal.
Damn after reading the title I thought they may have added an option to turn off that ugly chromatic aberration. It makes the screen blurry and actually makes it look low res. CA also takes resources so shutting that off may give a few FPS more. Just a clean image would make the game look much better.
Oh you mean that effect I can barely see even when I look for it, and don't see at all if I don't look for it? Yeah that would make all the difference.
I'd say a photo mode isn't on the cards. Mostly because they don't want you to be able to pause the game and a photo mode is impossible for you to avoid that. Shame though. Could have made some epic photos in this.
They could add a function to let the HUD disappear more easily though (like pressing L3 for example). Right now it's a little inconvenient to make clean/HUD-less screenshots.
never had any issues with the game but i like the load screen thing now. This game is so good and challenging. even the easiest enemies can be tough sometimes. I like how they get harder as you get farther into the game.
Does your frame stuttering get worse as time goes on? I swear it wasn't this bad when the game released, but I might of just been caught up in some serious hype and just didn't notice.
I'd like to see one of them dungeon boss arena areas opened up as a endless survival mode
Its the little things. Seems like now is a great time to jump back in.
Well that's much better than a black screen.
:)
I'm all for any kind of bloodborne lore :) can't get enough of it!
