IGN writes: "At E3 today, we were lucky enough to get our hands on the demo which we recently posted impressions of last week. While we only had a few minutes to control Lara because we had a limited amount of time to play, we were quite impressed by the flexibility of the underwater level. Essentially, players could "swim-strafe" away from hazards like sharks, which was extremely important because the giant predators would swarm and charge through Lara otherwise, making a quick meal out of her. Fortunately, thanks to the ability to swim to the side while still retaining a visual lock on a target, we could pull out a spear gun and nail the sharks safely."
Despite its relatively modest reputation in the greater gaming landscape, Tomb Raider Underworld was a huge game for AI development.
Gamerheadquarters; "With there being over seven hundred games, here are the best deals and in general the best games you should be checking out on Xbox 360."
The Tomb Raider Collection is on sale for $50.50 as part of the Humble Store’s Tomb Raider Week. The collection normally retails for over $200.
The Tomb Raider Collection includes every Tomb Raider game ever released for PC prior to Shadow of the Tomb Raider, including the award-winning Rise of the Tomb Raider and the top-down shooter Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.
Boy this one has been toned down hasn't it? WOW! I take it this is the Ps3 version? I ask cause the xbox 360 version looked much, much better than this. Much.
Sad days. Tomb Raider has no place anyways. Uncharted basically solidified how great controls and exploration can be to a game. It was a true action/adventure game. Not some absurd, can't control, piece of junk bunk tomb Raider.
