Three Games That Need To Come To Vita

The PlayStation Vita’s a fantastic system. A beautiful bright screen, two analog sticks on a handheld, and plenty of additional features (touch screen, touch pad, gyrometers, etc) all make it worth owning. The problem? It sure doesn’t have a lot of AA/AAA games for players to buy. Sure, there are indie games, but that won’t keep a platform afloat. Here are three games that should come to the Vita.

I want to like it, but with the issues of the PS2 and the PSP version, it's hard for me to get into it!

the psp version is great I don't mind the lack of 3d town exploration. However, I got Fez on a dollar sale just to try to play the answer and the AI is so infuriantingly bad I've not been able to finish it..... I'll really love some way to play the answer with a manually controlled party

The infamous series could really give it a boost. Do you think part of the problem is that they make side games for major titles like Assassins's creed or uncharted instead of just porting the games from the main consoles?

Uncharted did very well in reviews and sales, but I think the issue with most of the side games of these major titles is just that they weren't very good.

Assassin's Creed: Liberation was fine, but the multiple classes weakened the game and messed with what people liked in the mainline games.

Call of Duty: Declassified was cheap thrills with a bare minimum multiplayer and co-op missions.

Resistance: Burning Skies was just okay with some shoddy texture work and gameplay design.

They needed to be more clever with the selection of games that could be suited to a portable platform. Why would you play Call of Duty on a portable device without a good mobile network when you could just play it at home on a console.

Besides games, the fact that Sony is killing features doesn't bode well for it either...

What it needs is Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops. Been wanting to play it for a loong time but I don't have a PSP and my local GameStop doesn't sell 'em anymore.

They should though, as Persona 4: The Golden is the best-selling Persona game (But I´m pretty P5 will surpass that)

Once Persona 4 DAN is out, Atlus JP will likely never release another Vita game again.

Despite P4G and Dragon's Crown both selling really well, Atlus thinks Wii U is a better platform for them than Vita. With the exception of Persona 5, they might as well be a Nintendo second party dev.

Plus Atlus USA just announced plans to localize the exclusive Dungeon Travelers 2 to PS Vita . So why are you saying that Atlus does not care, when they obviously do!

Atlus US has been okay with Vita, it's the Japanese side that's been terrible. They've said that DAN only exists to give Vita owners something, which implies they have literally nothing else in development for it.

Atlus does not develope every game they publish.

But the fact, that these games from Atlus is soon out for The PS Vita, means I can´t agree with you. And if this is not proof, then nothing can convince you, and I give up (plus this is my last bubble ;))

Lost Dimension and Dungeon Travelers 2 aren't from Atlus Japan. Those games were published by Furyu and Aquaplus in Japan. They wouldn't be involved with Atlus at all if the US branch didn't pick them up for localization. As I said earlier, Atlus US has been okay to Vita. It's the Japanese side that pretends it doesn't exist.

Here's what Persona producer Hashino had to say about DAN: "We wanted to give them another Persona game they could enjoy on that platform."

On my third playthrough of Persona 3 Portable, so I´d rather have something else for the Vita. Yeah, it is rather egotistical, but it is not likely any of this, will become true anyway.

I would like to see ports of both of the Raidou Kuzunoha games.

Games that need to come to Vita:
1) other sports titles like NBA, NHL, WWE.
2) new Infamous, God of War, Syphon Filter, more games of this type.
3) original GTA or Saints Row. Would settle for San Andreas Hd at this point.
