EB: Halo: Spartan Strike, the top-down isometric shooter set in the Halo universe, has made its way to the iOS App Store today even though it was only announced as being available for the Windows Phone platform. Spartan Strike is the follow-up to Spartan Assault, which released a few years ago for mobile devices, and eventually consoles via the Xbox One.
The App Store version retails for $5.99, or can be bought as part of a Spartan bundle for $9.99, which will include Spartan Assault. You can purchase the standalone version of Spartan Strike via its App Store page, as well as the bundle.
With the latest update for the IOS games of Halo: Spartan Assault and Halo: Spartan Strike Xbox services have been added including achievements for both titles.
TTP:" If you have wanted to try out Halo: Spartan Strike before but haven’t done so already, you will be happy to know that the game is now available for a reduced price on the App Store."
Halo fans looking for a quick fix of Halo delights might be entertained by what Spartan Strike has to offer, yet if you’re looking for some form of Halo 5: Guardians tie-in, original narrative, cooperative play or enhanced gameplay over the previous offering, you might be disappointed.
