Here's the thing though... Eidos go on about player choice, but then the choices you made in the first game don't seem to carry over into the second game. That's a bit of a contradiction in terms right there.

I'll definately be geting Dues Ex:HR, but I think it's a littel bit lazy on the part of the devs to say what happend in the first game is no longer cannon. Why the hell not - make it cannon ffs, you're the ones making the sequel after all!!!

How would they when HR is on last gen and MD is on next? Also the whole contradiction starts in HR as well since they talk about choices but at the end of the game it's push one of these buttons to determine your ending...that's not player choice at all, that's just giving 3 different endings and making the players action during the game completely pointless. Still loved HR and can't wait for MD

It's not a Bioware game.
Deus Ex choice is about how you approach the game, stealth, hack or force. Not choice on how the story progress...

1 reason not to: I don't feel like it.

The new one looks cool though.

Directors Cut is pretty cheap. Its $20 or less depending on which system you have and where you buy it from. Will definitely get it before the next game releases, just have so many games I still need to finish.

You guys can get it during steam summer sale for $5. or $6 with directors cut included.

I'm out looking for it right now but I can't find the directors cut >:(
