Team Rainbow Thwart Siege on Vegas - Trailer

The first video trailer for the forthcoming Rainbow Six: Vegas, due out later this year for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. It's looking very much like Rainbow Six: Vegas will be one of the leading PS3 launch titles in November, with Ubisoft Montreal taking care of dev duties on the game.

Storywise, it seems that there is some form of escalating terrorist siege on the chaotic streets of 'Sin City' which "threatens to take world terrorism to new, uncontrollable heights." Jeepers!

This game looks Awesome, definately a good launch title for the PS3. Its soo cool, i live about 4 hours away from Vegas, i am amazed on how they have the strip so well documented.

this another must buy in sept. for me too.
i don't know about you guys, but i will be a broke man by the end of this year.

this is suppose to be out in Sept along with splinter cell. so i guess the PS3 version will be out later...will it be launch for them? and will they get to experience the great multiplayer play we as xbox owners have been enjoying with the series? for their sake i hope they do...two fun titles in the multiplayer arena.

It's just another kind of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter if you ask me. Just a different surrounding...

The nice thing about the Tom Clancy games is that each one actually is very similar to the others with a focus on a different style of gameplay.

Splinter Cell = solo stealth players
Ghost Recon = multiplayer stealth shooter
Rainbow Six = multiplayer tactical shooter

No matter what style of game you like you can have a TC game that is catered to it. Of course, with the online play in these games you can take these and jumble them up a bit, but I enjoy them all.

the room to room battles can feel different...and like he said...a little more tactical.

I saw in a magazine the other day where a smoke gernade goes off and makes the carpet move. nice physics to this game as well. so the envirement is a little more involved than GRAW as well.

Looks like Sony has got another great launch title. Sony defentily has the higher arsenal when it comes to launch games. Games will win this Next-Gen and MS is a year late, they could have ended Sony before this PS3 even launched it's called "strike while the iron is hot" and M$ didn't pull the trigger, maybe they forgot to load their damn gun. (yes I know its a mulitplatform)

ps3 launch is benifiting from M$ 2nd gen of games.
games like this are a given. you have to look at their exclusives to compare titles at launch to be fair.
ones that you can only get if you were to buy a 360 or ps3.

why do I have to compare that way. Why not compare 360's launch titles to the ones Sony is going to launch with... that seems to be more fair to me. My point is that the PS3 launch will provied gamers with the reason to buy a PS3 which is games. For sony to have success, with the wii and 360 which will have both launched before it, Sony must and will provied gamers with games. So far The PS3 launch titles are blowing the 360's titles out of the water (not that it would have been so hard since the 360's launch titles were nothing to praise) Just my opinion

I agree with you on that, the 360 launch titles were horrible at best. Ps3's launch titles look to be much more promising. And they arent even done yet, if they came out now, 60% to 70% comlpete, it would still be better than the 360's launch lineup. I am not putting 360 down, but if you compare the launch titles, i dont think anyone would argue that the ps3 has better quality launch games lined up.

Name one console that had a launch line up like the 360 in the past. You certainly can't PS1 didn't have it, PS2 not, xbox 1 also not.

I'll bet at launch PS3, IF it launches this year, it'll be allright.

But what the buyers at that moment evaluate counts.

Compared to what, 10 or 20 games for PS3?
