Capcom released today a new large batch of screenshots of the upcoming online RPG Dragon's Dogma Online, that will be released for PS4, PS3 and PC later this year.
What's really fearsome is whether it will be released outside of Japan at all.
I don't see why it wouldn't, there's a fan base for the series in other locations. I wonder if the JP only release is to test the reaction before it's released in other regions.
Capcom is the reason why it might not release in other parts of the world. Fanbase doesnt matter, what does is If a profit deemed worthy can be made over the development/marketing trasotional cost. And Capcom has already proven their level of greed, and how it sways their decisions, in the post ps2 era.
Is this game free to play?
I mean, I liked Dragon's Dogma, but "did we ask for this?" That said, Id love for them to bring it over to the U.S. Curious to see what they are thinking with the game. Bring me a proper Monster Hunter of PS4!
It isnt about what you asked for, it is easy to see that Capcom believes they can pull in more money from this game if they give it a monthly subscription. Fan desires come second or third.
