Metro:
EA’s mobile reboot may have been a travesty but a team of fans have recreated the joys of running your own dungeon lair.
We’ve had a lot of spiritual sequels lately, that describe themselves as the ‘real’ follow-up to a beloved, but currently abandoned, franchise. There’s the real Baldur’s Gate 3 in Pillars Of Eternity and the real SimCity reboot in Cities: Skylines. And that’s ignoring games like Axiom Verge, which is a Metroid sequel by any other name, or Bloodborne‘s close relationship to the Dark Souls series. So as much as we realise the term is becoming overused War For The Overworld can only be described as the real Dungeon Keeper 3.
